Xavier's Pov
They trusted me and agreed with every decision I made because they knew I would protect them and make every decision in their favor.
I also gave them the freedom to speak their minds, which was not only a dictatorship but also a democracy. I knew equality could be harmful at times, but they had the right under their alpha to discuss the situation and offer suggestions for better solutions.
"What if it's a trap?" Edward appeared concerned about me.
We were both standing outside the dungeon when no one else was around.
"You are correct, which is why I am leaving you here to protect Sansa," I told Edward.
Edward looked disappointed and remained silent for a moment.
"And keep everyone out of the dungeon," I said.
"You think I am an emotional freak; I can ruin things. That's why you are not taking me with you, are you? Do you think I'm a wimp?" Edward was attempting to keep his emotions under control.
