Chapter Three:Coffee is key

Alex started the old clunky coffee pot that he had preset the night before like always. Lenny walked down about twenty minutes later in a grey tanktop with a deep red skirt and heart sprinkled knee high socks paired with her usual pastel rainbow convers. Her hair was pulled up in a braided ponytail, her plasic silver crown cliped up in the blond strands. "Well whats the occasion Len?" Alex said giving a bow to be silly. Lenny rolled her eyes with a smile showing off her clean white smile between her lips with SCORPIO (the lipstick that Jeffery Star has out thats a grayish purple color). "We, good sir, are going to the library?" she asked in a tone that was more of a statement as she continued "I want to go at four as to avoid people I know so we can get some new books." Alex looked at her and nodded "alright, make us some coffee and start on your homeschooling while I get dressed ok Len?" The girl smiled and pulled two mugs out of the cabinet, humming a tune Zain taught her a few nights ago. "Zain wanted to go to the library to meet Alex" she mumbled quietly "Zain likes Alex, he talks about him almost non-stop". Alex was hesitant to leave his sister alone but knew it would only be a small amount of time. Lenny got her coffee loading it up with sugar and creamer while leaving the smaller mug with black coffee. Sitting down and starting some hamilton with Alexa home Lenny worked on her math. Alex had pulled Lenny out of school four months ago when he found out that she was getting bullied for being trans and was ahead of her class, so homeschooling was what happened. Lenny was home alone most days but still got her work done without fault. She was a good kid, as long as she had her sugar swimming coffee. With Lenny coffee is key.
