Chapter 61: New Role
"Yes, Sir. She's in her office."
Jorge, after hearing the receptionist response, he nodded his head, turned to Kayla, "Let's go." He said and started walking towards the direction of the elevator with Kayla walking behind him.
On getting to the elevator, he pressed the button and the doors opened. Stepping in, he pressed the thirty-fourth floor and they started ascending.
Kayla, slightly nervous, she interwined her hands together trying to shake the feeling away and that didn't go unnoticed by Jorge who was watching her.
"You're nervous, right?" He asked.
Chuckling softly, "I guess so, just a bit." She replied.
"You don't have to be, okay? Everything will go smoothly just trust me." Kayla heard Jorge words and she nodded with a smile.
