29. Approved

D said to Shounak and his mother ,"Big B and Mrs. Sen , don't worry I'm not cancelling the surgery . Rest assured , he agreed for it and we will perform the surgery this noon . I will go prepare OT ."

Everyone except professor Kapoor was dumbfounded. Shounak realised he probably has silly expression , so he composed himself and rushed inside his office followed by his mother .

Once inside the room , they saw old man smiling meaningfully . When he saw his friend Koushik , he praised him ," Koushik you have found a real gem ,man. That girl has knack for changing one's opinion."

Koushik , Professor Kapoor , snorted ,"I know that , you don't need to tell me ."

Shounak and his mother were just watching, wondering 'what happened to this stubborn old man ? Did she feed him some kind of medicine to make him agree?'

Suddenly he turned to Shounak and said enthusiastically , "Son , you have to make her fall for you and marry her . You must not let her go ."

Saying Shounak was dumbfounded would be an understatement. He didn't know what has gotten into his Pa and where was this coming from .

His father challenged him ," Don't act dumb son . I know you like her , do you think I didn't notice the way you act around her . So , I'm telling you if you can charm her , I will approve of your relationship ."

Shounak didn't refute the claim instead and accepted the challenge," Don't worry old man , I can definitely make her fall for me. I have confidence in myself."

His father was pleased with his son. For the first time ,his son has showed interest in someone of opposite gender and he isn't denying that . It's good thing maybe he can see his grandson soon .

Meanwhile, Koushik , professor Kapoor was fuming mad . 'What does this father and son cooking now ? He can't let his precious baby girl fall into their trap. ' he thought .

He interrupted both of them ,"Hey , you stinky people, what do you think you are doing ? Don't covet my daughter, I'm warning you . And hey old man who are you to approve of her . I don't approve your son for my baby girl, she is too good for him. "

Ankush , Shounak's father, yelled ,"Hey who are you calling old man ! You are a old man , I'm not ." Then he made posture like he is seriously thinking about it and commented ,"Now that you mention it , I do think she is too good for my son ."

Shounak forehead creased and his face darkened ,"Hey old man, y.....yo.....you...you whose side are you on haaa ! If I'm not fit , then are you ??"

He was seriously irritated now , his old man have split personality for sure . Then he left the office while snorting.

Shounak never stuttered, he was the ever so decisive and confident guy but now everyone saw new side of him.

Everyone in the room laughed at his antics , so he really do like her .
