16 . Secret

It was lunchtime so , D hurried to get lunch with her colleagues . She was successful in avoiding Shounak .

But how can she avoid him in his own base everytime so , she decided to just forget what happened that night and act normally around him. She was sure he won't bring that up , unless she says so .

After lunch , the instruments send by hospital arrived. They were gonna donate some latest instruments in heart surgery as well as basically needed instruments to army hospital and they were temporarily being stored at this base . Some advanced instruments were being transported to Army hospital and remaining will be kept at base and base will be transformed into temporary hospital until medical team was there.

D was summoned to check if everything needed has arrived and if kept accordingly . There he was , ensuring safety of all vehicles. Their eyes met , D proceeded with her work , this time she didn't embarrass herself. After work was done , they both went their separate ways .

She went to professor Kapoor's room , as she has some things to discuss with him . He wasn't there , so she waited for him there .

She heard some noise outside the door , it was Big B and professor Kapoor . They were talking about scheduling some surgery as soon as possible. The door to the room was opened and they instantly stopped talking.

D stoop up and said ," Hello Professor, I have some things to discuss with you but you weren't here so , I waited for you . If you have some important matters to discuss, I can come later ." After saying this , she was leaving when she heard professor stopping her ,"Wait D , I think you should listen to it as you are also part of it ."

She was confused but listened to professor and stayed . Shounak and professor came into room and locked the door . D was puzzled about what was going on , what's with so much secrecy but she waited patiently for them to start .
