Taking Advantage of Me again

Feeling the attention of everyone, Kara was on tenterhooks. Sweat broke out on her nose. She nervously grabbed James' large palm.

James, on the other hand, was used to it and did not care if Sam's attitude.

He pulled Kara to his side and said calmly yet disputably.

"My fiancée is young. This is the first time she has attended such a big banquet."

It was also the first time that James had brought his fiancée in public. He chose Mr. Marshall's birthday out of respect.

Moreover, he emphasized Kara's relationship with him.

All the young ladies present were shocked.

However, no matter how displeased they were, no one dared to voice out their opposition.

Kara did not understand the competition in the business.

She acted properly by James' side and greeted everyone with a sweet smile.

She could not open her heart to strangers. Most of them were James' business partners, therefore, James did most of the talking.
