After the checkup, Kara asked the female doctor who did the examination for her about her current health condition.

However, the female doctor with a mask only said that the result of Kara's checkup hadn't come out yet. Kara needed to wait for it.

The doctor specially comforted Kara that Kara's current physical condition was very stable and that Kara would be fine after a few days of recuperation.

Hearing the doctor's comfort, Kara nodded happily.

Kara had personally witnessed her mother lying in bed every day. Her mother could only stay in the room and always smelt like bitter medicine.

Therefore, Kara was really afraid of being ill.

Walking out of the checkup room, she saw a tall figure standing by the railing. Kara quickly walked to the person, stood on her tiptoes, patted the person's left shoulder, and then ran to the right.

However, the man reached out too quickly. The man directly turned to the right and picked Kara up, letting her look at him in the eye.
