CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

The following week was dull. Naomi didn't do anything except staying at home. Nina's will begins today. She was selecting what to wear for the movie night when her phone rang. When she checked it was Ardi and she smiled. Just the man I wanted to hear his voice. She said. Should I be happy or scared? Ardi asked as Naomi rolled her eyes. I missed you. He said as she smiled. Ardi asked as Naomi sat down on her bed. Grandma Nina's dead and we buried her last week. Naomi said. I'm so sorry about that. Ardi said. It's ok. I've cried my eyes out already. I do not have any tears left to cry again. She said. So what about your friends? Are you guys in good terms now? He asked as she nodded before remembering that he couldn't see her. Do you need something? Naomi asked. No, but you do. Mary said coming inside as Naomi looked confused. Me? She asked pointing to herself as Mary nodded. I think I have everything but since you don't share the same opinion with me, please enlighten me in what I need. Naomi said folding her hands. You need clothes to wear to whatever or wherever you're going with your friends and I can help with that. Mary said selecting and matching clothed for Naomi. Well thanks. I really needed the help. Naomi said. And I know that you and you're so called friends are not in good terms. Mary said as Naomi was shocked. I'm done. Mary said. How did you know that? Naomi asked as Mary looked at her. Seriously? She asked as Naomi looked at her. Funny of you to ask that. Naomi, I think the only one stupid in this house is you. Dude, it's obvious. She said leaving. Ouch! That was harsh. No one is respectful in this house anymore. She said going to the bathroom to do her business.
