"Is it ready?" Alex asked to peep next to Nathan who was cooking.

"Almost, go sit down & let me serve you," he said.

She stood still watching him pour the scrambled eggs onto the plate.

He picked up the fork and served her, "Have some" he said blowing on them. Alex opened her mouth and he fed her.

"More she smiled.

He sat down and pulled her with him, Alex dropped to his lap, holding her waist he hugged her back," Let's eat "he said. Alex nodded grabbing the toast, he fed her the eggs while she ate the bread as she fed him too.

"I need to leave for a trip and won't be back for two weeks," he said.

"When are you leaving? "she asked.

"Tomorrow, "he said.

"Tomorrow?!" she looked up at him.

He smiled," Worried about missing me "

She pouted," No? I was..just surprised "

He laughed seeing her look away," I won't be long, I will call you every day if it's okay "

She instantly nodded and Nathan smiled holding her.

"Are you okay? Does it still hurt? "he asked.

"No am fine "she answered.

She had woken up to a painful backache and her sex hurting with a burning sensation. She had tried to get up but was in so much pain he had to carry her instead. Alex who had refused to leave the sheets after seeing blood stains on them felt embarrassed when Nathan carried her out.

"It's okay love the doctor said you're fine "he had called his doctor cause Alex was panicking, he told him what to do and she calmed down.

Alex finished her lunch, they had woken up again in the afternoon.

"What do you want to do? "he asked.

"Can we stay home & sleep? "she said.

Nathan laughed," Is that the only thing you love doing, you need to go out more "

"But I hate crowded places and being alone makes it worse, "she said.

"Don't worry I will be with you? "he said." So let's go out for a walk "

"But the doctor said I need to rest, "she said smiling.

Nathan laughed," Yes but also not lazy, so let go for a little while "

Alex sighed finally accepting.

They walked out with Ed leading them. He seemed excited to take a walk with them as he ran up ahead and then ran back to them.

She laughed," Why is he excited? "

"It's been so long since I took him out, and you're here. He seems to like you "said Nathan.

"Well I like him too now, "she said.

Nathan chuckled gazing down to her face, she tiptoed and he bent down meeting their lips.

Ed barked separating them, Nathan glared at him," Hi, calm down we are coming "he said.

They return to their stroll. Alex held Nathan's hand happily not noticing the two people hiding who were following them.
