Chapter 4
Title: The Beginners Book
...
"Thanks". She wasn't sure how the lady knew her name, but remembered NPCs could also see a players name just like players could see each others.
She followed the directions given to her and went to the room. When she entered the room, she first noticed the large wooden table with lots of different things on it. There various different sized beakers and containers, a small pot, a mortar and pestle, candles, and corks. On the table a few feet away from it was a small fountain that produced water.
On the other side of the room was a door that connected to the living space. She planned to check that out later.
Azami went over to the table and began taking out materials she had gotten from the quest before. There weren't many but she planned to use them to the fullest. It was her first time trying alchemy and she had no recipes or methods for making any worthy potions.
[Rabbit Horns x62]
[Rabbit Skin x15]
[Wild Oskrine Flowers x153]
It was obvious where the rabbit items came from but the flowers were collected by Azami. Right outside of the village was a batch of flowers that were just sitting there. She thought the flowers were pretty and seeing as no one was going to pick them she did it herself.
Azami frowned at the now messy table. "I wonder if I can store this somewhere.. It'll take up too much space in my inventory. I'll go ask that lady from the counter." She dusted her hands off and left out the room. Just as before, the woman was napping with a book over her face. Azami once again lightly tapped on the counter which awakened the woman.
"Back so soon? We don't do paybacks on rooms if that's what you're here for." She said.
"I'm not here for that. I wanted to know if there's a way to store my materials somewhere without using my inventory." The woman could only shake her head at how Azami didn't know such a simple thing.
"From your looks I thought you would've already known this, guess your just a newbie after all. In other places like this players have to buy the separate inventory. Fortunately it's cheap and a one-time purchase, meaning you permanently keep it. You can buy it for 3 copper. The inventory can only hold materials, not any armor or loot."
Luckily, Azami had exactly 3 coppers left. She handed to the coins over and said: "Thanks for your help um..I never caught your name."
"Just call me Laura. Before you leave take this. You don't have to worry about returning it." She handed Azami a thick book with the title 'Beginners Alchemy'. "Since you're a beginner at this and a cute one at that, I thought I'd give you a little help."

[You have earned the achievement: 'Laura's Trusty Book'.
First player to earn achievement! You have been rewarded +10 SP]
Azami was shocked at this! She took the book and once again thanked Laura for her help before walking back towards her room. Once she entered, the first thing she noticed was the newly added large box chest in the corner of the room. She assumed it was the inventory for things and quickly added them to it.
"I'll allocate my points later. As of now I plan to read this entire book. Laura said it'd be helpful so it must have some recipes I could use and recreate." Azami pulled a chair up to the table and began diligently reading the book.

-Timeskip 4 Days-
*snore..* *snore...*
"Mn.." Azami slowly awakened from her sleep. She slowly dragged herself out of the bed and stretched her body.
*yawn*
"When did I fall asleep? Must've been after I finished reading.." Yes, that's right. Azami had not slept since she started reading the book Laura gave her. It had been an full four days before she decided to close her eyes. She had been entirely immersed in the book full of recipes, she had even found some special ones that only she could learn. The reason for this was because Azami had the privilege of being the first person to earn the achievement of receiving Laura's book.
In Unbound Reality, the first player to earn an achievement will have the privileges of learning something that can only known to them. It might seem unfair to others, but that mattered nothing to ones who actually had the privileges.
"For Laura to say this is a 'beginners' book is quite insane. I learned more than enough from this one book, it makes me wonder intermediate book is like. I'll definitely have to find it soon."
She'd already decided. Azami needed to get her hands on the 'Intermediate Alchemy' book. She wasn't sure where it was at, but she would surely find it and learn everything it had to offer.
"It seems like I'll need more materials. I can make a potion with what I have right now, but I want to make something that'll be more effective. I'll need to go hunting, before that though..." She seriously needed to clean herself up. Although it was in game, her hygiene still functioned the same as it would in real life. "I wonder if there are any potions for things like this? Anyways, I should go ask Laura if there's any washrooms around here."
Azami fixed up her appearance a bit before leaving out the room. She went towards the counter where Laura worked and surprisingly found the woman actually doing her job instead of napping. As she saw Azami walking over, she looked her up and down before nodding her head knowingly. Azami didn't even get a chance to speak before Laura said: "You can find the washroom at the end the hall to the left on the second floor. I hope you learned lots of things from this~."
"I did. Once again, thank you Laura." Using the directions Laura gave, she quickly found the washroom and entered. As she undressed herself a notification popped up in her face.

Azami choose the XX version as she wanted to have the full experience of the game. Seconds later she felt her chest and lower half heat up before going back to normal. As she looked down, a small blush appeared on her face. She quickly grabbed a towel and went towards the shower to wash herself.
