Outnumbered but Outmatched

"FUS RO DAH!" Alduin shouts, launching Surtr into the sky without even gravity to pull him back down. This attack was more to mock him than anything else, declaring him unfit to be a dragon without any wings to show.

Surtr wasn't able to consider this however as he rapidly spins and falls upwards, not knowing when or if the shout's effect would end, and how he'd survive should he return to earth... The only time he'd heard anything even somewhat similar to this was in the stories of men leaving the world when struck by a giant, only to survive by landing in a haybale... He wasn't going to risk himself on that however.

He spots a meteorite shooting toward his general vicinity, allowing him to reach out with his axe and hit it, the subsequent explosion knocking him towards the area about the Throat of the World.

Alduin was now battling in mid-air with Paarthurnax since Dragonrend's effects had ended, his flight unobstructed as the meteorite shower avoids his giant black body completely.

Durnehviir was trying to aid the dragon, but was failing spectacularly. He dove in to bite at Alduin's rump, only for the World Eater to spin and slash at his face, sending him plummeting towards the mountain. He strikes it with huge force, sending boulders and a mini-avalanche barreling down the side of the mountain.

"Nii Los Zeim Rel Tol Faal Lein Los Vahzah, Un Bormah Vorohah Mii Daar Ven Wah Hel Nii Viilut!" (IT IS THROUGH DOMINATION THAT THE WORLD IS TRUE, OUR FATHER MADE US THIS WAY TO SET IT RIGHT!) Alduin roars, his voice sending Paarthurnax tumbling through the sky as the dragon struggles to recover.

"Rel nunon raak wah gral! Un bormah drey ni kiindah ont oblaan ok vorey kiindah! Striving avok un ubaak ziidol los ven amativ, zeymah!" (Domination only leads to destruction! Our father did not birth us to end his other creations! Striving above our base urges is the way forward, brother!) Paarthurnax responds in kind, but Alduin isn't faltered at all even as Paarthurnax's words blast him in the face.

"Hi Tinvaak Wah Mindok Fos Bormah Laan! ? Zu'u Los Diist Kiin! Faal Lein Los Daaga Dii Wah Al! Hi Vis Tinvaatey Voth Hin Joor Nukaas Pah Hi Hind, Nuz Faal Vahzen Fen Reyzan Ful!" (YOU SPEAK TO KNOW WHAT FATHER WANTS!? I AM FIRST BORN! THE WORLD IS RIGHTFULLY MINE TO DESTROY! YOU CAN PLAY WITH YOUR MORTAL PUPPETS ALL YOU WISH, BUT THE TRUTH WILL REMAIN SO!) Alduin exclaims after failing to bite a hole in his brother's wing, spinning to avoid the claw headed for his eye.

"Til Fen Kos Nid Wah Rel Voth Nii Al! Hi Yah Oblaan Ahrk Ul! Hi Vis Ni Lost Ney!" (THERE WILL BE NOTHING TO RULE WITH IT DESTROYED! YOU SEEK AN END AND ETERNITY! YOU CAN NOT HAVE BOTH!) Paarthurnax argues, but is struck in the back by a meteorite before Alduin can respond, sending him colliding against the peak of the mountain, splitting it in two as he rolls to a stop near the Word Wall.

"Nax! Stop hurting him you big black ass hole!" Illococoo screams as she goes in for her own attack, "VEN LUV QA!" she shouts, instantly causing a line to form over Alduin's back which opens and sprays blood as it doe so.

Alduin turns and glares at her, his rumbling growl causing the rubble of the mountain to vibrate, "I SPARED YOU ONCE, WHELP! PREPARE TO DI-"

"JOOR ZAH FRUL! STOP MONOLOGUING VILLAIN!" she shouts, using Dragonrend despite the fact that it should be impossible.

It strikes Alduin and sends him to the ground again, his landing causing a mini-earthquake as he slides to a stop. "HOW CAN YOU USE THAT INFERNAL SHOUT!?"

"BECAUSE I'M A BETTER DRAGON THAN YOU!" she exclaims, darting over his head while utilising her elemental wind manipulation to speed herself up considerably, "VEN STRUN LUV!" she exclaims as she passes, blasting Alduin with the equivalent of an air element fireball.

*WOOOOKKKSH!*

Alduin shrugs off the cutting winds however, lifting his face skywards and shouting "LOK FUS GOL!" at her. She spins in the air though and barely avoids it, and isn't attacking again as the World Eater turns his attention towards the limping Paarthurnax that was approaching him.

"Hi Los Sahlo, Nuz Fen Aam Zeim Dinok!" (YOU ARE WEAK, BUT WILL SERVE THROUGH DEATH!), "WILL YOU SPEAK YOUR LAST WORDS IN THE MORTAL TONGUE!?" he sneers as he approaches.

"If only to insult you. You are unworthy of our father's name, he blesses mortals just as he blessed up with life. Even now he sends his son to stop you, it is he who allows the existence of Dragonborn." Paarthurnax states as he readies himself for a melee battle.

"Pathetic." Alduin simply says as he lunches forward and bites his opponent's shoulder, his teeth cutting through scale and flesh like a knife through butter. Like a dog he shakes his head, worsening the wound.

Paathrunax replies with his own bite, but he isn't able to get a proper hold on Alduin's steel-like scales, his teeth finding no purchase.

"BITE THIS!" a voice shouts from above them and when the two dragons' eyes look upwards, they see Illococoo throwing a very angry-looking Surtr down at them...

"WULD NAH KEST!" he roars, using Whirlwind Sprint to increase his momentum as he slams Wuuthrad down.

*CHOOOOKKKK!*

The axe buries itself into the vulnerable section on Alduin's back that Illococoo had wounded earlier, allowing it to bypass the World Eater's scales and directly into his flesh.

*ROOOOOOAAAAAARRR!*

Alduin rears up as pain shoots through him, the axe having barely missed his spine.

Paarthurnax, now free, clamps his jaws down on Alduin's neck, a few of his teeth penetrating shallowly into his scales.

"Zu'u Fen Ni Aus Daar!" Alduin growls, "Suleyk Gaar Fus!"
