Familicide!

Michael was about to leave the home he'd unintentionally intruded into, but frowns when he realises that Shadow Dance wasn't working... He felt as if he'd busted a few ribs, so those idiots staring at him was only making his life harder, not that they knew about his ability of course.

Instead of running back out of the hole he'd made earlier, he turns around and heads downstairs and out the front door, becoming invisible once out of sight. His injuries automatically start healing once he was out of view of the family, allowing his broken ribs to shift themselves back into place in a rather nauseating fashion...

Once outside, he could see the many dragon knights all circling around the house he just exited, all of which were still out of range for any of his abilities. And unfortunately, it seems that they had some mages skilled in detection spells.

A ripple makes its way through the air in a similar fashion to the spell the scout team of dragon knights had used previously. Once the ripple makes contact with him, he could see a shift in the knights above him, letting him know that they were aware of his location. He was still invisible, but their spell suck to him like metaphysical glue, undoubtedly tracking his location at all moments.

Dark Pact would work here, but getting rid of the tracker wasn't really worth burning his flesh off... Especially since they'd likely just cast another one. Michael frowns to himself and disables his invisibility, allowing the knights to see him... Except, when he reappears, they're greeted by him standing peculiar stance while flipping them off. "I can this one, Praise the Fake-God Brimir!"

*THWWOOSH!*

Michael had the wherewithal to stay ready for a reactionary attack, allowing him to dodge to the side as a large ice spear buries itself where he was previously standing. He looks up at the knights who were furiously glaring down at him, the sides of his lips upturning, "Is this all Brimir's magic can do!? Gusts of wind and tiny ice-picks!? No wonder the elves killed him, he must've been a bigger joke than all of you combin-!" he's abruptly interrupted as he feels a sharp pain in his back... Only, the dragon knights weren't the ones responsible... It was the wife of the man who tried to stab him with his own sword from earlier...

"You fuckin' bitch!" he growls as she pulls back her knife for another stab, the woman shouting, "DO NOT FOUL BRIMIR'S GREAT NAME!" as she makes another attack... Only for Michael to easily sidestep it and bury his fist into her face... His Strength and Agility which were enhanced by his Gandalfr runes made themselves readily apparent as her head cracked open like a dropped ripe watermelon.

"MAMA!" some kids shout from behind him, but he couldn't muster the focus to care as the dragon knights were swiftly descending on his position... While his insults against Brimir might not have aggravated them enough to make them act, his murder of an 'Innocent civilian' certainly was.

"YOU RABID ANIMAL! WE'LL PUT YOU DOWN FOR GOOD!" a knight roars as he rapidly swings his wand at Michael... Nothing happens at first, but just as this thought occurs in Michael's mind, the ground begins rumbling.

He leaps backwards as the ground spins like an upturned revolving door, only for the phenomenon to follow him as he avoids each one. Michael knew that getting caught by one might feel like getting stuck in a wood chipper... By the time he avoided the fourth revolving earth trap, the knight's dragon was already upon him.

Its head was a meter away and was about to chomp down on him, he could use Blink Strike to avoid it, but he decided to try out Tricks of the Trade first. "Tricks of the Trade!" he whispers, feeling his body literally disappear, but his consciousness remains in the same spot. The peculiar feeling of a dragon passing through his 'not-body' soon occurs, but he just ignores it and instead observes the strange phenomenon happening instead.

All the air in a couple meter circumference from where he'd disappeared had begun to shimmer slightly, almost ominously. The dragon and its rider were unaware of it when they charged into it, but soon realised their mistake when metallic whirs sounded out.

Flashes of silver appear behind both the knight and the dragon, cutting into the flanks in random locations. The tip of the dragon's tail was severed, and the butt of the knight now had a large slice running along it, causing the man to shout out in pain.

But, just as soon as Tricks of the Trade started, it ended, with Michael reappearing where he'd vanished a second or two after the spell was initially cast. He was a bit disoriented at suddenly having control of his body again... Or even having a body, but his opponents were far more confused than he was.

Additionally, using Tricks of the Trade had rendered him invisible again, as his disappearing act seemed to count towards 'being unobserved'... This didn't remove the tracker however, leaving him in the exact same situation as last time.

Unfortunately, his enemy wasn't fighting alone, so as soon as he reappeared he had to pounce away in order to avoid the barrage of spells shot at him from above. They weren't using any large-scale or fire-based spells for obvious reasons, which made it relatively easy to avoid, but it was still him against a small army of dragon knights...

He twists and turns through the spellfire, and eventually backtracks towards the knight who'd been baited to attack him. He Blink Strikes behind the man and holds his sword up to his throat after knocking his wand to the floor, causing the spellfire to stop in order to avoid his hostage. "Not so cocky without wood in your hand..." he pauses at how strange that sounded before shaking his head and continuing. "Fly this dragon up to your buddy's or I'll carve my name into your forehead!..."
