448 Deadlanded Admiral

He hadn't yet used Auroth's Breath, but he was certainly looking forward to it. The Daedra in the Deadlands in general were weaker to Frost due to their affinity to fire. Though, he'd only noticed this when he'd started slaughtering them with Auroth's own spells, which he'd been using partly to honour her recent departure, even if it was a rather worthless sentiment all things considered.

Lastly, was Auroth's Presence, something he hadn't actually used yet. Whether it was because he didn't know it existed, or because he knew instinctively that using it under the ocean of magma was a one-way ticket to the most horrifying sauna experience ever conceived, he simply hadn't activated it yet.

He'd already observed what happens if ice gets into contact with magma when some stray ice shards shot into it... The result was, explosive, primarily due to the ice turning into vapour extremely rapidly, he imagined the result would be equally dangerous with the mist also.

Regardless, figuring he had nothing to lose on dry if absurdly hot land. Once he wills the ability to manifest he could feel every pore on his skin open up and begin producing it as if it were just sweat.

The immediate temperature around him quickly cooled to a comfortable level, allowing him to ease the amount of mana he was using to shield himself from the heat. "Ahh... That's MUCH better..." he mutters, as if feeling a cold breeze while standing under the desert sun.

*Screeeeeee!*

He could hear the sound of incoming Daedra in the distance, so he decides to quicken his pace slightly... He grabs some Mana and Stamina potions from his inventory and downs them, then once he feels his strength return, quickly goes to check his progress with his Kunkka Spirit.

Admiral Qualities (Rank 1) : Gives the user inherent charisma when speaking to groups of people. Grants people under user's command a bonus to their damage, attack speed, and movement speed.

Torrent (Rank 1) : Summons a large torrent of water to shoot from the ground, lifting and stunning enemies caught in it.

TideBringer (Rank 3) : Enchants user's sword with Tidebringer's essence of the sea, making their next strike also hit nearby enemies.

X Marks The Spot (Rank 1) : User marks a target with an X, causing them to return to the same location after a few seconds, no matter what.

GhostShip (Rank 1) : Summons Kunkka's ghost ship, massively boosting the vitality of allies on it. Any collisions are dealt massive damage. Requires constant mana to maintain.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He puts a point in all of Kunkka's abilities and raises TideBringer to Rank 3. It was one of his best abilities when it came to dealing with groups of enemies. The AOE attack killed swathes of enemies whenever he used it, not to mention its water attribute which soaked those struck, allowing him to use ice magic on any survivors to finish them off.

It was kinda underwhelming considering all that he'd received from Auroth, but he supposed these two things couldn't really be compared...

He lets out a tired sigh and turns towards the approaching winged daedra, "Alright, let's test out my new boat..." he mutters before holding his hand towards the ocean of magma, "Ghostship."

*SPLLAAAASH!*

Aqua blue light explodes and momentarily blinds Michael as a huge ephemeral ship lands with a splash in the liquid rock, seemingly unbothered by it as it sits atop it.

Michael blinks a couple times as his vision returns, allowing him to look upon his new vessel... It was absolutely huge, a Man O' War with a shit of cannons visible from where he was standing.

Unlike how it is in Dota 2, where it's empty and destroys itself by crashing into the ground and or enemy, this one was perfectly fine as it is. Michael could even see hundreds of ghostly figures manning it, waiting for him to board it.

He summons his icy wings and flies up to the deck and is immediately greeted by hundreds of saluting ghosts. They don't make any sounds, seemingly incapable of it, but they were able to touch things, and more importantly, man the ship.

Michael enters the captain quarters and can't help but chuckle when he realises that he was still visible to everyone... It was a ghostship, all walls and floors were visible, no matter what part you visited.

He humorously shakes his head and walks back onto the deck as the winged-daedra arrive... Only for his ghostly sailors to draw their weapons and start attacking them... Did he mention that every sailor was equipped with a ghostly flintlock pistol?

*BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG!*

While the sailors couldn't make any noise themselves, their weapons certainly could. They unleashed a barrage of fire on the enemy, blasting the daedra to pieces as their bodies are torn to pieces by the ghostly projectiles.

Their limp bodies fall from the sky, some slamming against the side of the ship while others simply drop into the magma, their fire resistance not doing anything as they burn to death.

Michael grins at the sight, "You make a big mistake letting me go about my business. Let's see how much of your realm I can fuck up before you finally lose your temper."

He makes his way over to the ship's steering wheel before drawing his sword and raising it into the sky, "ALRIGHT YOU LANDLUBBERS! WE SAIL UNCHARTED W...-ER, TERRITORY! LET'S SEE IF THESE FOUL SEA DEMONS CAN MATCH US!" he shouts, enjoying his new position of Admiral far too much. "MAN THE SAILS! WE WILL PILLAGE THIS LAND FOR ALL THE LOOT AND BOOTY THEY'VE GOT! CAN I GET AN ARRRRRRR!?" he exclaims over-excitedly.

...

"Oh right, you guys can't talk..." he mutters before shaking his head and grabbing the wheel, "SET SAIL!" he shouts, letting the men do all the complicated stuff. As far as he was concerned, speed up and slow down were the only commands he needed to give.
