546 Bully

While Tiffania and Megumin got some shooting practise in, firing various weapons at some steel-plated chained-up zombies at the end of the makeshift shooting range, Michael began speaking with Kohta about his thoughts on the current situation.

As Michael had thought, Takashi only gave his interpretation of things, spinning it to suit himself while decrying Kohta's, rather justifiable actions.

Sure, Kohta had become an absolute menace to some, murdering swaths of people in the process, but Takashi forgot to mention that the 'victims' had been slaving, raping, murdering pieces of shit.

It was Kohta and the Takagi's that were actually keeping Takashi's faction safe, constantly scouting around the city and wiping out any enemies they found. More often than not, finding small gatherings of raiders that were preparing to assault Takashi's territory.

Takashi had more women and children in his faction than most, making them a very big target to basically everyone, those who wanted to improve their faction's numbers, and also those with malicious intent...

It was with this new understanding of things that Michael offered to help up during his stay in the world. While Saya showed Tiffania and Megumin different parts of the modern world, Michael and Kohta went hunting... Needless to say, they were very effective in clearing the region in and around the city...

The biggest thing of all was the Nuclear Submarine they'd found not far from the coast which was being manned by Chinese deserters. They were all killed, but Michael found that all of their nuclear Armaments had been used up already... Probably shot at America if he had to guess? Japan wasn't really a threat given how virile the virus was in high-density populations, which basically meant most of Japan. He and Kohta split the loot fifty-fifty, mostly because Michael didn't have a use for most of it... What were guns in the face of gods?

Michael and the others spend around a week and a half in the zombie apocalypse before deciding to move on to the next world. Saya had gotten her fill of familial interactions so their purpose for being here had been served.

"So, our next destination..." Michael mutters with thinned lips, "Gonna just lay down some ground rules." he says before tossing some modern casual-looking clothes at them. "We're not gonna cause any trouble so no magic, no mention of other worlds, nothing."

"W-where are we even going?" Saya asks as she holds up the tank top, jacket, and jeans combo he'd given her.

"Well... My original world..."

"Original world?... You've never said anything about it, but given your familiarity with modern technology and the requirement to wear this stuff... It's similar to my world I'd bet." Saya states.

Michael nods, "Yeah, minus the zombies."

"What're we going there for?"

"My sister, Lillith."

"You have a sister...? How come you never said anything about her before?" Megumin curiously asks.

"He has to me but he didn't want to go further without first returning..." Tiffania says.

Michael shrugs, "I just felt shit to talk about her in the past tense, like I'd never meet her again... We've finally got a way to go back though! So get those clothes on so we can go," he looks to Tiffania and Megumin, "I'll be able to show you some modern things that aren't overrun by zombies!

Saya folds her arms and hums, "You're thinking about one of those cliche theme park dates aren't you?"

"Er, maybe...? That's like one of the big things isn't it? That and zoos, aquariums, movies... Can you tell I'm not actually that knowledgable about this?"

Saya chuckles, "Yeah, it sounds like you got all your ideas from Anime..."

Michael's eyes widen, "Anime! I can show you girls anime!..." he pauses, realising they'd probably find themselves if they actually took a look...

He shakes his head, deciding to deal with that if it came to it...

"Alright, I'll begin the ritual, you guys get ready."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Dumb bitch, why didn't you stay away like I told you to!?" a teenage girl angrily says as she pushes Lillith to the floor.

The blonde girl felt something 'click' as her ankle bent there wrong way, spraining it as she hits the concrete of the alleyway. "Leave me alone, Brooklyn! He only asked me to help with his homework! Do you want me to leave school or something!?"

"Yeah! I want exactly that! Take your stupid-ass to another school and stop bothering my boyfriend! I don't care if he comes to you, the next time I see you speaking to him I'll knock your teeth out, bitch!"

Lillith scowls and tries to stand but flinches as she puts a small amount of weight on her hurt ankle. She props herself against the alley wall, only for Sandra to grab her hair and painfully pull it. "Listen to me! If you talk to him once I'll tell everyone what a ho you are! They won't believe your stupid quiet act after that!"

...

"I'll take that as a 'Yes' then, dumb bitch stepping to me." Brooklyn says, pushing Lillith back over and spitting on her before leaving.

Lillith just sits there holding back her tears while wondering why she even got out of bed this morning... Sometimes it felt like life wasn't even worth living, like it only existed to hurt her and nothing else.

There was no light at the end of the tunnel here... She had no 'good' friends, everyone thought she was too quiet and creepy, just because she preferred to keep her thoughts to herself. Along with the fact that she'd found it difficult to smile ever since her big brother was killed.

She can't help but to have a mini-panic attack whenever she thinks back to that freak accident... A spaceship carrying a truck exploded, and launched the inexplicably surviving truck through the sixth floor which hit and killed him... They never found his body but most assumed he'd just disintegrated upon being hit which she couldn't really dispute with how quickly it'd all happened.
