Another Storm (3)

Ernoul heard those unpleasant words directed to his Hyung-nim. He couldn't help but be infuriated at the man who yelled at him for an unknown reason. "Hey! Watch your tone!" He retorted back at the mysterious man.

"Ha!? Ain't he the one who can't keep his eyes to himself! That Bastard kept staring at my Sister!!" Agis yelled back. Xarth immediately knew what he had meant. 'This siscon asshole.' he finally remembers what this character's initial personality was like. It was the same personality of the Drunken blade. An unpleasant guy who has a sharp tongue likes to pick fights, and worse of all has a sister obsession.

"You dare insult my Hyung-nim!!" Ernoul's hand crept its way to his waist where the scabbard was hanging on. He was ready to take out his sword and point it at the man's neck. Agis noticed it and laughed at Ernoul's actions. "HAHAHA!! Wanna fight!? Sure loser!!" Agis stood up from his seat before taking out his daggers and fixing his sharp yellow gaze upon Ernoul.

They were for real was about to fight at that moment, but was only stopped by Agis's beloved sister, Liliana. She swiftly wraps her hands onto his brother's arm pulling him to sit back down. Yet she seems to can't make him sit down since she was lacking on the psychical side. While the two kept on going with a staredown.

Xarth had enough of it and yanks onto Ernoul's arms. "Stop, you'll only cause a mess. I'll handle it." He whispered while patting Ernoul's head. Before looking back at Agis...At that time their eyes met, Xarth could see his sharp yellow eyes that resembles the bright sunflower field just outside the garden of the Duke's Manor. And his bright light blue hair that elegantly fades onto the background resembling the clear sky outside the large arched windows. "What!? You wanna fight!?!" he started to raise his dagger towards Xarth. Ernoul can't tolerate it any longer and lashes out at him. "I told you to watch your tone!" he dashed his way at him drawing his sword out of his scabbard ready to swing at the man fully clothed in black.

*SWOOSH

Ernoul widely swung his sword towards him, Agis's mouth started to twist up showing a crazy look on his wild face. He quickly raised both of his daggers and was about to parry Ernoul's sword when suddenly...

A black figure quickly came in between them unnoticed and stopped the clash between the two. Xarth eyes widen, he could see a person with a wrinkled face, white hair, elegant white beard set upon his chin accompanied by a gentle smile across his face. It was Wilfred, he used the tray of refreshments as the medium to stop their weapons from clashing against each other. He had already placed the teacup and teapot on the table before swiftly coming in between them.

'How could a lenient old man move like that!?' Xarth was bewildered by Wilfred's unbelievable movements. Though, he shouldn't be too shocked anymore since everything seems possible in this world. Still, that can't explain how the old guy can move so swiftly, his figure wasn't even distinguishable to the naked eye since his movements were just too fast.

Wilfred looked over to Agis with the same gentle smile on his face. "My...I can't have you hurt my Master's esteemed guests." Somehow contrary to the face, he was showcasing, his words seem cold and sinister. Agis just quietly withdrew his daggers away from the refreshment tray and sat down beside his sister.

Ernoul also silently placed his sword back to its scabbard and bowed his head towards Wilfred. Wilfred just nodded his head and focused his attention on Xarth. "Please accept my deepest apologies, Young master Xarth." He pleaded while slumping his shoulders, clearly stating he was ashamed by the scene he had just shown to the Young man in front of him.

Xarth was displeased by the old man slumping his shoulders for something he didn't have any involvement in. "Please don't feel sorry, any of it was not your fault. It was my fault in the first place." Xarth looked over in Agis's direction. He just growled at him with a pretty tempting hittable face.

'Augh! I just want to smack that bastard's face with something!' Xarth couldn't feel more annoyed with his actions. He was on the verge of smacking Agis's face with the apple pie he had gotten earlier from Cairo before using the teleportation scrolls. Xarth wants to do it to cover up that annoyingly hittable handsome jerk face of his.

He ignored Agis's growl and just looked back at Wilfred with a fake smile on his charming face. "But, Young master Xarth he spoke in an unpleasant tone towards you. You are a Nobleman, you shouldn't be treated like that."

Wilfred explained by still feeling bad for what happened to Xarth.

Xarth couldn't help but show the discomfort on his face. "Hyung-nim..." Ernoul mumbled while looking at his Hyung-nim with his mouth straight as an arrow. He was ashamed since he had cause trouble once again towards his savior. Xarth just stayed silent before releasing a sigh. "It's alright, I don't mind people speaking to me casually. So don't feel bad about it." He was reassuring the old man since it was painful for him to watch an old person suffer.

The gentle old man just smiled before replying to Xarth's humble words. "You're such a humble and kind Young master. I thank you from the bottom of this old man's heart for allowing such behaviors." He was genuinely happy and surprise to know that a Nobleman like Xarth truly exists. Wilfred typically meets Nobleman far more arrogant than his own master. They treat him far more worst than a normal servant, you may not know this but, Wilfred is from a low noble ranking household. Typically low ranking noblemen or women tend to serve high ranking ones to preserve some dignity for their household. There are even certain occasions where they sell off their daughter or son to be married off to a more prosperous household, in the process making their family gain dignity and more wealth to their names.

Xarth just grinned, "Tch!" A loud snarl was heard inside the room. It was Agis sitting angrily while continuously stuffing his mouth with bacon and egg, which was the breakfast served to them.

Liliana places her hands on Agis and forcefully made it bow down. "Behalf of my brother, I sincerely apologize for his unsightly behavior." She commented while still forcing Agis to bow down. Agis seems to be so stubborn that he continues to resist his little sister's actions. She noticed this and immediately smacks his side with her elbow, "Augh!" Agis let out a groan before finally bowing down on his own accord. "Sorry, Alright!! Tch!" he apologized yet, Xarth can clearly hear the unpleasant tone he let out while he was supposed to apologize to someone.

Xarth just ignored it and bowed his toward Agis's sister, "Wilfred, Where are the others?" he asked since they were supposed to meet that morning. The old man started to stiffen. "About that Young master Xarth..."

*THUD

A loud crash from other room was heard by everyone currently inside the opposite room.

'What was that?' Xarth started to wonder, what could have made that sound. He hastily ran out of the room that they were currently in and headed out to where the sound came from. Ernoul saw this and immediately followed behind Xarth, Wilfred also swiftly catches up with Xarth to escort him to that room.

Wilfred positioned himself at the front of the two men once more. "I'll lead the way Young master." he insisted before he continued walking.

"Ahh!! Why did you bring them here!?"

"It was a coincidence! I don't want to argue with you. I'll take care of them immediately."

"What do you mean take care!? They are clearly spies from another kingdom! Why bring them here!?!"

"I...Because-"

Wilfred looked over at Xarth embarrassed at the current conversation they were hearing. "I beg your pardon, Young master it's just there are some problems involving the two people you met earlier. It was because-" he was cut off.

Xarth gestured Wilfred with his hands. "Don't tell me the reason. I clearly know that Zero is the cause of all this ruckus, I'll hear his reason myself."

'Hyung-nim is so kind...' Ernoul thought this as Xarth was guiding his subordinates well.

'Zero, what the hell did you do this time?!' He was furious, since he was Zero's employer. It was already determined that every mess he do would will always lead to the employer taking all the blame about this matter.

He needed to take care of this matter immediately since he doesn't want any rumours spreading all the way to the Barrows Household. That the youngest son of the Count is an iresponsible brat, causing a great shame in the family name's.

'I know for a fact that reputation matter the most in this world. I don't want to cause any trouble for the Count's family, since I'm basically free loading from them. it just doesn't feel right in my conscience that I shouldn't do a thing to prevent this matter. Alright here we go.' Xarth started to open the door with both of his hands.
