Chapter 13: A Glimpse of the Future

After getting hospitalized. My mother and I went home. I look around and still can't believe what I see. Everything is changing and I forgot about it.

Then, inside the house is a big place. The chair, the table, the roof, no there is no roof, but I was living inside the tall building somehow called a penthouse.

While I feel like I was dreaming, I heard a bunch of people greeting me. "Welcome back, Ms. Alexandra" there are many servants in the house and I was overwhelmed so, I did not say anything, and just nodded. Then for another moment, I saw again the two children. They are hiding behind their grandmother. Then my mother encourages them to greet me and hug me, "go on, just greet your mother." Both of them then come out and walk towards me. "Hi mom, I am Bryan and I am, 5," the boy said, then the young girl also speaks, "Hi mom, I am Ava and I am 3" I don't know what to say so, I just say Hi and kneel down so they can hug me.

After the introduction, my mother put them into bed and I wait for her in the dining area. When she came, I still feel a little awkward but I started asking her, "Mom, can I ask, what happened to me when I fell down in that abandoned house?" Then she sighs, "well, I think I really have to tell you."

"After you left and talk with your father, do you remember what I said before you go?" I think about it and then I remembered, "you said that..." "dear, Alexandra, I know you are looking for yourself but you must hurry because the more you add questions the more you forgot who you are. I also know that your brother was killed by Ethan so, you must find him. He is the key to all the problems we encounter and defeat Emilio. You must also find someone trustworthy to help you in your mission. Lastly, another thing, go to your secret place and you'll see the answer you are looking for." "Yes, that is what I told you, and then after you left in my room and go to your father. Your father suddenly asked me if I have seen you."

Past- My mother Point of View

"Honey, have you seen Ezar?" Michael said. "No, I haven't, why what's wrong?" "She still hasn't come back after we talk and it is already midnight." Then, I started to panic and get worried. Michael then asked his men to find Ezar in the woods, "let me come with you, I want to see my daughter as well" I said. Then Michael did not disagree and just let me join the group.

While looking at the forest, we find your secret place a beautiful waterfall, we look around it expecting to find you but we couldn't find anything when George a young man suddenly approaches me. "Ma'am is this Ezar's phone?" he asked. I looked into it and it was yours which gives me hope.

The next day, we went back to waterfalls as our starting point. We also brought the dogs to smell your scent to find you. After a long time, the dogs suddenly stop and barks in the abandoned house. We look inside of it and your father found you.

You are lying on the ground with woods above you. We get you out there as soon as possible and help you clean your wounds. It's been a week since you wake up.

Present- Today

After my mother told me what happened that day, I still can't remember anything but I know I will remember in a short period of time.

Then, in the morning, she brought me to the place where I fall. The place seems not touched but there are woods around it. "You are the one who asked them not to remove it because you said you still need it." my mother said. I look inside and stand to where I fall. Then I start lying on the ground and close my eyes.

When I open it up, I saw the young version of myself inside the glass. I was very scared and confused at that time. Then, the woman who speaks to me talks to her, I mean this face talk to her. My future me.

Then, after they talk and the light appears again, the young version of myself is gone, but I am still in here. Then suddenly, the woman walks towards me, I mean the adult me walks towards me. "I see, you are here again, and you seem to be lost again. But I supposed you already know who I am, do you?" she said. "I do actually," I said. "Good, then did you take care of our children?" she asks. "Actually, it's mother who's taking care of them," I said. "Oh, okay. Anyways, perhaps you are still not ready for them now but don't worry. You'll love them very much when you understand why, so are you ready to come back home now?" she asked and smile, "Yes, I do." "Then, very well. Hold my hand and you will back to where you belong."

I follow what my future me said and I hold her hands.
