CHAPTER 2 CRISIS ON MEGAN PLANET

LIN ONGRO

Erebus seized power after the death of the Emperor Pontius, his father. After killing the contestant Didius Julianus, Erebus fought his rival claimants, General Pescennius and Clodius Albinus. Shortly after, Erebus won the election. The evil gods, bloody scars and vicious predators hearts pounded with happiness and their soul started dancing. But, humanoids frowned, huffed, murmured and complained.

Few weeks later.

Emperor Erebus took power into rebellion, he had bad relations with Goliath and Garma, and then built up the political power of the humanoid military in ways that led to it essentially taking over the humanoid states. When I saw and heard that Erebus actions forced humanoids to raise their voices and devastated Helioses buildings and technologies with their own high tech weapons which fire superheated bolts of plasma, I felt a shiver run down my spine, a tingling sensation that spread like wildfire. Humanoids managed to move stealthily into Gavaria empire, seized Helios lads, concealed and brutally kill them with swords that has two sharpened edges, arrows, axes and spear. They boldly called Emperor Erebus "The crazy helios" "bad monarch" and "The Antagonist".

The vivid memories of the old man's prophecy began to cloud my mind and then I said to myself "I shouldn't have disbelieve his prophecy."

Few days later.

Radnak, Drax, Marger and I held a meeting with the emperor's envorys, Garma, Aynat, Birsha and Allatou.

The meeting was about "Bring back republican government and end the evil relationship with Goliath and Garma." We, the gods strove to settle this, however our efforts was in vain. One of the envorys said

"Humanoids are violently protesting and you all didn't stop them. The damges and execution they started didn't bother all of you. And now, you want to stop us from fighting back. That's impossible. If they want war, then we'll give them war."

After adjourning the meeting, Radnak walked toward me, his soul was drowning into the river of his grief.

"What's wrong father?" I asked

"The prophecy about the crisis on Megan is truth."

"Oh... Okay." I said while I was shivering, afraid to speak the truth "So, what do we do now?"

"Why are you trembling?"

"Nothing. You haven't answered my question."

"We've to prepare for the war. Assemble the powerful gods and tell them what we got."

"Are you insane father?!"

"How dare you speak to me in such manners?"

"My apologies. But, are you sure you want to do this?"

"Hundred percent sure."

"A lot of people will die if we start a war."

"No. We'll protect the humanoids and conquer the crazy helios and his army."

"Father..."

"Listen to me, Erebus deserve this. Infact, he doesn't deserve to live. Have you forgotten he murdered Didius Julianus and took power into rebellion? Have you forgotten he built up the political power of the humanoid military in ways that led to it essentially taking over the humanoid states?"

"No, I haven't father. I want to ask something. Why don't we hold a meeting with the humanoids and discuss this matter?"

"Lin Ongro, there's no need for that. Humanoids have the right to protest."

"Oh, I see. Now, they have the right to protest violently?"

"Of course, they do. Like I said earlier, Erebus started all this, and he deserve to die. Lin, put this in mind, I will execute Garma and Erebus."

"You're unbelievable father." My face contorted and I shook her head, wept and walked away

"Lin, I'm sorry!... Lin!... I'm sorry!"

My cry turned to whimpers, and I felt a sting of melancholy and confusion.

Few weeks later.

Humanoids continued to protest violently until Emperor Erebus struck back. He quickly ordered ten thousand Bloody Scars and Vicious Predators to unlawfully arrest and brutally execute the humanoids. Radnak assemble and sent the powerful gods to battle with Vicious Predators and bloody scars after millions of humanoids died.

"Assist Path finder and I'll stop Garma!! This war needs to end now. I've heard enough." Radnak said.

RADNAK

I transformed into a unique and complex creature like no other. Pure white wings with upper edges protected with a golden piece of accessory and the lower edges sharpened to cut even the thickest of metal. Armor made of Gold, rubbies, emerald, tanzanium a mineral resource that is gotten after the birth of a celestial being and some pieces of diamonds and other rare stones. An Anthropoid body with broad chest and ripped thighs and claws made of crusted silver and eagle head. I flew upward to meet my father, Garma.

LIN ONGRO

Heavy flapping of wings reached my ears after battling with some evil gods. I looked up and noticed that Radnak was moving towards his father. I screamed at the top of my lungs; "Dad, wait!!!"

I bolted towards my father as he descended and reverted to humanoid form. Also, he listened to what I said.

"Dad, please don't do this. He's more powerful than you. I'll join you instead, at least we could defeat him together."

He held my shoulders and gave me a calm face to convinced me.

"No, daughter. I need you to assist Path Finder with your cousins and I shall convince him, myself."

"What if he doesn't listen to you? What if he try to confuse you?"

"He can't, Lin... I know you're worried and scared, but there's no need for that. Am strong enough too take him down, to demolish him. Go. Go, Lin. That's an order." Radnak said

"May Roak be with you, father. He won't let me lose you."

We placed our heads together, and I went to assist my cousins, Drax and Marger. But when Radnak transformed into the creature and flew towards his father, I felt scared that my heart miss a beat.

RADNAK

I speedily descended on a building. Stains of a bloody war spattered on it like water, and pallid bodies which look lifeless and cold. I reverted into humaniod form. While I approached Garma, I stopped and convinced him from giving the bloody scars orders to persecute more humanoids.

"Father, why can't you stop this madness!! You're too old for this!!" I yelled

"Wait!" Garma yelled as soon as the bloody scars took few steps forward. Then, he said to them "Follow my command."

He turned towards me and continued;

"So, you think I'm too old to give orders? Just so you're aware, I'm not old to do that... You've lost your way child. Erebus is the right helios and he will rule this planet with the envorys. On the day last, those who accept him as their emperor will enter the Light City..."

"I recently discover that you've contacted the craziness from Erebus. Only crazy people think that way."

"You think Didius Julianus is the right man for this planet? You're living in a fool's paradise, son. Didius doesn't have the capacity to rule the multiverse. He's the younger brother of Erebus! Tell me, is it possible for a young man to rule over his brothers?"

"Yes, it is possible! If you and the others give him the opportunity!..." My face contorted as though I was struggling not to cry; "I'm disappointed at you father! You betray your own family just because of a high rank. You are comfortable with this mess! You're comfortable with killing people!"

"Why didn't seize the humanoids from demolishing Helios property in the first place!?... Answer me!"

Garma's question reminded me of what my daughter said; "Why don't we hold a meeting with the humanoids and discuss this matter?" My face crumpled like a used tissue and I turned grey.

"Listen carefully, why I'm working for Erebus is to make this planet a better place. Rebellion is the best for us. I wish you can understand me."

"Same here. But, we don't want that. I don't want that, dad. It's our right to decide what we need on this planet!... Please father, you need to stop this execution. This is not the right way to make things better. You don't need to force people to accept what they don't love. Please, I'm begging."

"I'm so sorry, son. This... Is my fate. And, I won't let you puncture it... Why don't you join me, Radnak? We can build the future together, and live for eternity."

"No. I won't... And, since you refuse to hesitate this madness, I'll do this the hard way."

I transformed into the same unique and complex creature, and created a weapon that consists of an ax blade and a sharp spike mounted on the end of a staff, usually about 5–6 ft (1.5–2 m) long, then got in my fighting position.

"Hard way." Garma said

He transformed into an intimidating, well-built and tall creature like no other. The armor was a golden piece which has intricate designs that seemed to stem from the ancient Egyptian mythology.

On his wrist were rough iron cuffs in golden color, which are said to have been worn by the Majal of the ancient Egyptian police use to wear. An Anthropoid body with broad chest, thicker bones, larger feet, a very muscular neck and a large bony head with protective ridges over the eyes.

I flew at Garma speedily and lifted the halberd over my head and snaped it down toward him. But he grasped the weapon with his left hand and then dragged it, and threw a mighty punch with the right hand. Needle-sharp bolts shot through my back as I fell from the building. But, got on my feet and flew upward to strike him again. Garma bolted at me as I flew towards him. Then, whacked him with the halberd while he raised his fist to punch. He forcefully descended on the ground and got on his feet instantly. I flew towards Garma again and struck him several times with the same weapon. But, he parried all, snatched away the weapon from my hand and forcefully punched me on the face. I smashed my back against a wall and another flash of pain had me seeing double as my head throbbed, but got on my feet again and exited the building. Then, created a strong and heavy metal shaft, featuring a head made of steel. I flew towards Garma to smack him.

Just as I was flying towards him to smack him, Garma vigorously punched me.

"Oh, Radnak. I was expecting more from you. You're unskilled, untrained and unworthy." Garma said

"You forgot one... Unstoppable." I said as I got on my feet

I flew upward and absorbed tons of solar energy for a few minutes. Then, descended on Garma and threw a hefty punch on his face. He smashed his back against an empty building, and against the ground. But, he didn't retreat. Garma rose and got in his fighting position, ready for more. He bolted towards me to strick again. I flew towards and punched him again.

"You think you can defeat me! I'm unconquerable!" Garma said as he got on his feet

"You're not... But, I am." I said

Garma yelled while shooting lasers from his eyes, but I quickly parried it with a round broad piece of armor, varying widely in form and size.

I endeavored to get closer to him, but the lasers increased and succeeded in pushing me out from the building.

"Yes... I won." Garma said to himself

I flew upward and went behind the building, smashed the wall and heavily blew Garma. His teeth clenched so hard while he rose to his feet. He charged directly at me, screaming at the top of his lungs. The movement actually consists of a very rapid shuffling motion of the feet, so that he stays balanced at all times. At the last moment, he threw quick punches, though I deflected all and returned the punches on his stomach, back and uppercutted him on his chin. I grasped his neck at once, and flew to the sky to stab him with my claws.

However, Garma landed two heavy blows on my face and instinctively shot lasers at me. Though, I clawed at his face, blinding one of his eyes. He grabbed and flung me higher in the sky, smacking me once more. The fight became so powerful as we pounded each other repeatedly. Garma again shot lasers at me, though I returned it with a strong and heavy metal shaft, featuring a head made of steel. Finally, I automatically knocked him down with the weapon, and he crash landed.

Garma dragged himself on the ground, bleeding profusely from his head and ripcage.

I flew downwards and reverted into humanoid form, and created a long stabbing weapon consisting of a wooden shaft to which a sharp-pointed head, as of iron, is attached.

"Well done. You've succeeded in defeating me. But, remember..." Garma loudly coughed and said "This war has just began. Erebus, won't stop fighting until everyone accept him as their Emperor. And, mind you... I will return, one day." Garma

"Retreat now, father. Don't make me do this. I don't wanna kill you." I said while aiming the weapon at him

"Do it. Finish it. Like you said earlier, you've chosen to be the savior... That means, you'll have to kill me. Now that you have the chance. If you spare me ... I won't hesitate to end you myself."

"Alright. Thanks for the information dad, I'll enjoy killing you."

I stabbed Garma in his chest and yielded up the ghost after a minute. Two minutes later, a light began to glow behind me and I saw a shadow on the ground. Turned back and saw an intimidating creature that stood head and shoulders above the average of humanoid with powerful muscles, a broad face, red eyes and a dark grey-hued skintone. He was dressed in a red protective suit of armor and a helmet, and his strength is such that he has been physically able to battle and defeat the likes of Garma. Not known to use much in the way of personal weapon, the one extremely notable artifact he keeps with him is the Buster Sword. From the tip to handle, it is approximately five to six feet long, with a single edged large blade approximately one foot wide. I took a deep breath to prepare myself for another battle.

LIN ONGRO

I felt nauseous, my anxiety making it impossible to think properly. I quickly looked back and realized that Erebus has arrive.

"Drax!! Marger!!" I hollered while running with jelly legs, immobilised with terror; "I need to return now. My father needs help, he can't defeat Erebus alone. Go, I'll be right back." I ran back to assist Radnak

"Stop!" Drax yelled and ran towards me in haste. "What the heck do you think you're doing!?"

"I told you I'm going back to battle with Erebus! He needs to be stopped!"

"You can't stop him, Lin... His too powerful. If you return and try to rescue your father, he'll persecute you in seconds." Drax said

"What do you mean by that?... Listen to me, I will never forgive myself if I let father die in battle. I can also risk my life to save him."

"I won't allow you to take that risk, Lin."

I frowned at Drax as he held my right shoulder and said;

"Lin,... I know you love your father so much. And, you will do whatever it takes to protect him. But, he has decided to sacrifice his life to save you. Just like my parents sacrificed their lives to save Marger and I. Radnak won't let you die on his behalf."

"Fine. Since you don't want me to fight alone. Why can't you guys come with me? We can defeat Erebus together." I asked

Drax face clouded with a mixture of disapproval and disappointment, then I knew his energy was been drained down beyond control. I looked at Marger and noticed the same thing.

"Am sorry, Lin Ongro... I can't assist you in fighting Erebus. My brother and I will descend on earth and you'll fight alone."

My face became etched with sadness as my cousins didn't concurred with me in this.

"I can't believe you're saying this, Drax. We can't leave him there. He needs our help."

"I know he needs our help, but we can't. I've told you, he can't be stopped. Lin, please. I'm doing this to protect us. Try to understand me."

"Drax, let her be if she doesn't want to. We can save ourselves. Let her show us what she's capable of. Since she claims to defeat Erebus." Marger said to Drax

"Fine. I'll let you go, if this is what you want. I wish goodluck."

They turned back and began to approach the space ship. Before I made up my mind to join them, I shaked like a leaf and felt sensation like a mild electric shock.

"Wait! I'm coming with you. I'm scared... I can't fight him alone."

"I thought you wanna die with your father."

EREBUS

I came out from the portal and look at Garma's body, then said;

"Well done. You've finally persecute him. Now tell me, what did you gain?"

"This is all your fault, Erebus. You caused all this... You manipulated him." Radnak said

"No. No, I didn't. He chose to worship me and obey my command."

"Liar. I'm going to kill you, myself."

Radnak altered into an unique and complex creature like no other. Then, created a weapon which consists of a curved handle and a head counter-weighted on the side opposite the blade.

"I'm not going to fight, Radnak. I'm going to persecute you."

Radnak absorbed alot of solar energy and shot out photon energy from his chest. Instantly, I parried it with my indestructible Buster Sword, attempting to move closer to him. However, he succeeded in pushing me backward, which caused me to smack my back against the ground. He conjured a metal ball and whacked it with his Double Bit Axe. While I rose to my feet, the ball smacked me on the face, and my brain jiggled around in my skull.

Without delay, he charged at me and stroke with a round board piece of armor. But bad for him, I parried his assault, infuriating him even more. An unexpected deafening punch landed on his chest, which caused him to smack his back against a building.

Shortly after, I hurled my sword at Radnak, but he avoided it and flew at me speedily. The sword returned to me like a boomerang as he drew the Double Bit Axe up over his head and snaped it down toward me. I brought my own sword up and parried. While he strove to stab me in the left shoulder, I rotated it around sideways so that the handle would be up high, above and to the left of his face with my notable weapon.

After that, I clutched him by the neck and flung him at a huge, wild and white building. I got closer and punched him on the face, once... Twice... Thrice... But, that wasn't enough. I gripped his right arm once more, and flung him to the ground. While he was trying to stand, I approached and stamped him on the member in between his legs.

"Yield, Radnak, before it's too late." I advised him

"Never." He responded boldly

Whistling hit my ears from behind, the noise got louder and louder, then I realized what's literally coming. Instantly, I grabbed the axe without looking and slowly pierced it in his chest. He cried out as his heart throbbed and his chest felt like it had been cut in two.

Soon after, I conjured a little ball from the sand which represented our planet, Megan.

"Erebus, I'm not done with you!!" An extreme loud voice reached my ears. Turned back slowly and discovered that it was the wounded Radnak. He rose to his feet, pulled out the axe and dashed at me. Radnak whacked me with a little hammer under the jaw. He conjured and threw a shield at me, once... twice... He leaped into the air, hollering and lifting the hammer over his head, and snaped it down toward me. I quickly avoided it and grasped his neck, and smacked him on the floor. The moment Radnak rose to his feet, I charged at him and stroke severally with my Buster sword, but he evaded and blocked all with his shield. His rapid movement incensed me more. My face turned crimson, veins pulsating with pent-up fury as I whacked him repeatedly with my sword, my knuckles white with the intensity of my rage. As usual, Radnak parried all with his shield. However, it shattered like that of a glass.

"Honestly, you're a good fighter. I'm impressed. But no matter how you fight, you can't defeat me. No god has ever conquered Helios." I said

"I will." He arosed slowly and formed a double edged sword "I'm Radnak, the son of Garma, god of kingship, healing, protection, the sun and the light."

He hurled the sword like a boomerang, thinking it would cut my head off. I rapidly bend my head down and stretched my hand towards him. A strong force pulled Radnak and I grabbed him by the neck.

"You're nothing to me." I uttered while choking him. Opened my mouth and a yellow force engulfed Radnak. His soul was being sucked out by me. As I kept sucking it out, Radnak's body decomposed and when the very essence of Radnak's soul was taken, his body was nothing but dust. Shortly after, I conjured a little circle which represented the Megan planet. I slowly squeezed it with my palm and the planet went kaboom. All were devastated within ten seconds, but Pathfinder, Lin Ongro and her cousins descended on earth.

"May we meet again." I said after laughing loud

PRESENT DAY

A messenger enters Gavaria empire, approaches me and falls on his knees.

"Your Majesty, Master Goliath wants to speaks with you now. He said he have a mission for you."

"Tell him, I'm on my way."

Shortly after, I exit Gavaria empire, my home and enter the Conveyance. As I walk into the great hall, the aroma of sweet Wine and fine mead hits my senses. At the center, a long fire pit of eternal fire emits light, reflecting shadows in abstract ways. Logs extend as support pillars on either side of the hall creating a central path to the back. Red and blue rugs litter the floor with elegance. At the back right corner are huge kegs of wine and mead. The back of the hall have a golden chair of royal decree. Occupying the golden chair is the god Dallas. Before him wedged in the wooden floorboards is a powerful godly great sword. As I look at Dallas, I get a feeling that he knows of my arrival even before I could have made the decision to approach.

"Dallas, my friend. How are you?"

"Your Majesty. Everything okay?" He asked

"Of course. I need you to transport me to Light City. Master Goliath wants to speak to me."

"I know, Your Majority."

Dallas, the gatekeeper transports me to the Light City. The city have tall buildings towering over each other, like my. People scurrying around trying to move to place to place, and bright lights that glow all throughout the day and night. The fast paced city is what makes it such a wonderful place. The city also have many things for a person to take part in making there never to be a boring moment and plenty of options to choose from. There are countless job opportunities that fit the society as well, making it easier for anyone who lives in the city to find a job. There are beautiful parks to stroll though, interesting museums to visit, and plenty of stores to buy clothes, and anything.other activity a person could imagine of.

I walk into Goliath palace and fall on my knees to have some conversation.

"Here am I, Master." I said

"My child, I'm proud of you. For you had done so well. You've done that everything I asked you to do. But, there's one more to conquer... The earth, powerless planet." Goliath said.

"Sir, there are many versions of earth. So tell me, what earth do you want me to conquer?"

"The very earth your last son descended on, thousands of years ago. You should be wise enough to know what earth is that."

"That should earth A-100. I thought you would never ask. I shall go there my Lord to slaughter everyone. Including the little heroes protecting it. Then, I shall get my son back to my arms."

"Hmm. I can see you're allegiant to my orders and that's why you'll dine with me after the last day of judgement. But, this wouldn't be your mission. I have better plans for you. Command whosoever you want to accomplish this mission. That's all I need."

"You have spoken, my Lord." I get on my feet and continue; "I shall bring success unto you and your kingdom, if this is your will."

I end the conversation and return to my kingdom, then approach the thrown as Birsha asks a question;

"My emperor, what did Master Goliath demanded?"

"He demands another apocalypse. This time will be on earth, and I have something in mind."

"May I ask what kind of version, emperor? Because they are a lot of earth versions."

I sit comfortable on the thrown.

"Earth A-100. The same universe Path Finder descended on. But, I won't be the one to accomplish the mission. Someone else will... Someone under my command."

Birsha kneels before me as he speaks.

"Here am I, emperor. Send me, for I will descend on earth with full force and bring forth whosoever you want."

l look at Birsha and read his mind, then find out he's willing and able to do what pleases me.

"Hmm... I see you're so respectful to me, but you're not the main villain in mind. Rise and bring me the seven hereditary. Because I have a job for them."

Birsha summons the seven hereditary and I command them to resurrect Garma. They put the corpse into a white casket and cast some spells with their blood. Few minutes later, Garma rises with his past memories and old body.

"Where am I?" He asked

He gives everyone a confuse face in the Life Hall and what comes to his mind is.

"Why are you all staring at me? The war...what happened to the war?"

"We won, Garma. There's no need to worry. Long time no see my friend." I said

I get on my feet and come down from the stairway, then approach Garma with a happy face.

"After your death, I killed the man who was responsible and the planet went kaboom. Those who decided to work with path finder burned to ashes, and now we're about to conquer another planet."

"Wait. I don't understand. You said we won, then... How did I get to the Life Hall?" Garma asked

"What was the last thing you remember?"

I begin to walk round Garma as he was thinking.

"Radnak, my son eliminated me during the war. I think that was the last thing I remember."

"You think? That was exactly what happened Garma, it's not what you think. My dear friend, things have changed, we're in a new generation. A generation of rapid technologies, superheroes and so on. But, I'm going to conquer em."

"I appreciate you for resurrecting me. But, why now? After thousands of years, you remembered me. Even if you want to send someone to conquer another planet, it shouldn't me."

I stop to look at Garma and hold his left shoulder.

"I know, I didn't remember you after your death. My apologies for abandoning your corpse for years. But now that you're alive, it's your time to descend on earth and enjoy freedom, immortality and kingship."

He blinks rapidly, trying to clear the fog of disbelief that clouded his vision, surprise momentarily distorting his perception of reality.

"Earth? That's amazing. I will love to, but I'm too old to conquer a planet. And, my powers aren't strong anymore to rule like you."

"Alright. If that's the issue. I shall make you an adolescent god and enhance your powers. Then, you shall inherit the earth."

Garma cries out as I aim my right arm to his chest and squeeze my fist slowly. His goatee winter-white beard turns Into a viking-black beard, new black hair grows from his head, wrinkled face becomes fresh, detestable body becomes dishy. Garma gets down on his knees and continue screaming as his blood-flecked eyes becomes rover-green and almond shaped eyes. His weak and fragile voice becomes deep. His jaw becomes concrete. Shoulder becomes huge. Unsteady feet becomes a leopard-like grace. And, a defined cheekbones. Also, his aged costume transforms into an advanced costume.

"Arise my warrior and tell me how you feel!" I yelled

Immediately, he stands slowly and feels the enhancement of his powers. I give him a smile and select other gods that will assist him in the mission.

"I feel... Magnificent, indomitable and exceptional." Garma said

"That's good. Birsha, Allatou & Aynat will be your assistants. They shall obey your command and rule the earth with you. Henceforth, your name shall be called Malacoda, the king of planet earth."

They approach and stand beside Garma.

"Take whatever you need before descending... And make sure you bring earth to it knees."

Once I sit on the thrown, Garma gives me a smile and orders warriors to descend with him.

"I shall have ten thousand warriors. And to you master, success is assure!"

When they descend, I make bundle of laugh because I know he is trustworthy and worthy to be a king.

"It has began."
