-------------------------------------------------------------

Wanda Maximoff put the rental car into park, then took a minute to stare up at the seemingly decrepit mansion.

Taking a deep breath, she stepped from the vehicle, heading up towards the front door, trying to figure out how mad she needed to be at her reckless twin brother when she finally saw him.

She'd yelled at Pietro for three hours straight when she found out he'd been the reason that Magneto escaped the Pentagon.

Apparently, one of her father's followers who went by the name of Mystique got in contact with her brother and revealed to him that they were actually adopted, and Magneto, or Erik Lenchner, was their biological father.

But, For some odd reason, Pietro seemed to think it was a good idea to seek him out.

A terrorist who was wanted by most of the governments around the world, a stranger to them, someone who had done terrible things.

She sometimes wondered what went on in her brothers head.

As if a man like that would change, just because he'd fathered children he never knew about, decades ago!

Wanda shook her head, pushing her unruly dark curly hair out of her face as she banished that train of thought, re-focusing on the present as she walked up the garden path to the front door, and knock some sense into her brother like she had been doing most of her life.

After weeks of trying to track him down, she'd gotten a call from Mystique, telling her, where she could find her brother. Egypt of all places.

Wanda couldn't understand why he felt the need to put himself in such a situation, Magneto was a stranger to them, knew nothing about them.

He definitely wasn't their father like the man who had raised them. But for some reason, Pietro felt that he had to track him down and help break him out.

As she'd made her way to the airport, she'd had felt a burst of fear through the bond she shared with her brother. That feeling had only grown worse as she had made her way towards Egypt.

She'd felt enough of her twin's emotions before to understand that it was Pietro who was scared, but she couldn't sense why.

She'd tried her hardest to not panic. Keeping the mantra Pietro is alive, Pietro is alive, Pietro is alive. Running around in her head.

She cursed the hours it took to book the flights. As she waited on the tarmac for the plane to finally take off.

Two days of travel, which had led her to where she was now, standing at the front door of this old mansion.

A chilling thought struck her. What if Magneto was here too? What if that was why Pietro wanted to stay?

One of her father's enemies, the one who managed to take away his powers was part of the Avengers.

Enigma they called him, he was on the same team as Tony Stark, the man who ruined her life and killed her 'real' parents.

Last she heard Magneto was scouring the globe looking for a way to get his powers back and get his revenge.

Wanda clenched her fists. Small red sparks danced around her hands. Taking a deep breath she forced her emotions under control, the sparks of red energy slowly faded away, as she got her emotions under control.

Pietro acted as if Magneto was merely misunderstood, as he himself was, and seemed to think that if they could just bond, all would be well. If that was the case, she'd break his legs and drag him home kicking and screaming if she had to.

She knew enough of Magneto's past, from the news, to know that he was bad news, and not someone she and Pietro needed in their lives.

If only she could convince Pietro of that.....

Her brother's mischief and petty theft was nothing like the atrocities Magneto had committed, and if he was here, Pietro was coming home.

They had already gone through so much she mused to herself, discovering there had abilities. Being hunted and chased out of their home in Sokovia.

Labelled as freaks, and abominations of nature. Their powers randomly activated after that day in New York, as if the revelation of the existence of mutants spurred their powers to awaken.

The red energy strands had come back again as she thought about the past. Growing into a halo around her hands.

Taking several more deep breaths, willing it away. She didn't need to draw attention to herself by causing a disaster.

Slowly counting to ten in her mind, and her powers went dormant again as she relaxed.

'You don't even know if Magneto is still here' she told herself firmly. 'So knock on the door, and ask to see Pietro. No need to get stressed out.'

Hoping her powers didn't go haywire, she knocked on the door. After a minute heavy footsteps sounded, and the door opened.

An obscenely obese man filled up the whole doorway looking down at her with a blank look on his face.

She absently noted that he was wearing some sort of circus strong man costume.

" Who are you?"

The huge man rumbbled.

" I'm looking for my brother. I was told he was here." Wanda replied.

The guy waited for a moment, then raised an eyebrow.

"And, who might that be?"

" Pietro Maximoff." Wanda hesitated, "I'm his twin sister."

The obese man's jaw dropped, but he quickly regained his composure.

"Right, of course. Come in."

He closed the door behind her. Staring at her for a moment.

"I'm Blob, by the way. Peter didn't mention you were coming."

"It's a surprise."

Wanda stated dryly.

Blob was still staring, and she knew why. With her nut-brown skin and wild dark curly hair, she couldn't have looked less like Pietro. He was starting to drool a bit, which made her cringe. She coughed to get his attention.

Snapping out of what ever was going through his mind, and averted his eyes as he turned and led her to a lounge before heading off to call for Pietro.

Sitting casually on the sofa Wanda looked about the room and tried not to fidget and keep control of her temper, looking around at the opulently decorated room, thinking about who might own the place.

Suppressing a yawn as she looked over the art on the walls. Lack of sleep as she raced across the world across several different time zones was, she knew making the jet lag worse and making it harder to keep her temper and powers under control.

Focusing on the art and the furnishings Wanda noted it was a bit on the older side, but it was obvious the owner was loaded.

"Wanda!?"

Pietro stood in the doorway, leaning against the frame, with a cocky grin as always. But knew her brother well enough to see the wary look in his eyes, behind the cocky facade. Wanda stood, stretching, relieved to see that he was OK.

Moving to hug him, then hesitated. He met her halfway, hugging her tightly, almost lifting her off her feet.

"What are you doing here, Wands? I thought you were in the States!"

Wanda eyed him intently.

"Oh, I just came by to check on my baby brother. After you know, not getting a call or a text from you in the last three months! "

Curbing her earlier urge to strangle him was getting harder, the longer he kept giving her that cocky grin.

"What are you doing here Pietro. Especially with him?"

Wanda's hissed at Pietro.

"I picked up on a hell of a lot of fear from you. And then next thing I know, it stopped yesterday." She continued.

Folding her arms, she glared at her younger brother.

"What's been going on?"

He shrugged.

"Dads got a plan. We've been staying here trying to find this ancient mutant or something. Supposedly he's the first one to ever exist. They say he can increase mutant powers, so he figured he could give them back."

"I don't know where to even begin with what you just said. But I'll be damned if I actually let you stay here one moment longer. Come on Pietro, let's get out of here!"

She said, before grabbing his hand and started trying to drag him towards the front door.

He stood unmoved, whilst shaking his head.

"Don't you understand what this means Wanda? We can finally get our revenge. Stark, the Avengers all of those guys. They're nothing compared to what we've found."

A cocky grin crossed his face. "Just picture it, Stark grovelling out our feet."

"Found?"

She questioned, her blood growing cold.

Suddenly, a woman with long straight black hair pulled back in a casual pony tail, wearing jeans and a leather jacket, stepped into the room, eyeing both twins curiously.

The lights flickered and cracks appeared in a couple of windows. Wanda took another deep breath, pushing down her emotions and her powers. Wanda steeled herself and slowly turned around.

Peter looked relieved to not have to start explaining right then, Wanda noted. He smiled at the new arrival.

"Hey, Psy."

Pietro said.

Wanda arched a brow at her brother. The woman was young, about their age, but what was curious about her was the psychic energy coming off of her.

"Peter."

Psylocke sounded almost amused.

"Blob said you'd had a visitor. I thought I'd come to meet your twin myself since you mentioned her so often."

Wanda could feel the sarcasm dripping off that statement. Turning to look at her brother, with a hurt look on her face.

"You haven't told anyone about me?"

She couldn't deny she was a little hurt.

"Errr... it's complicated, sis."

He cleared his throat.

"Wanda, this is Psy, or Psylocke, whatever you want to call her, Psy, this is Wanda, my sister."

He rubbed the back of his neck, looking at Psylocke almost apologetically.

Psylocke's next words were a bit sharper.

"You never thought to mention that you're a twin?"

Wanda watched this exchange like a tennis match.

Peter clenched his fists.

"It's complicated. Just like we all are."

"So, are you two like a thing? Or... something"

Wanda spoke up.

Psylocke smirked and walked towards Wanda.

" You can say that. My name is Elizabeth, but my friends call me Liz. Psylocke is more of a codename."

She said reaching out for a handshake. As a Telepath, Psylocke could find specific minds if she had previously made contact with it, or had a well-known understanding of her subject.

But she needed to be at least within a ten mile radius to do such a Psychic search. The thing is, she couldn't sense the mind in front of her. Even though she was looking right at her!

Her powers were even more effective upon skin contact, and having it blocked like that, freaked her out, more than she like to admit.

So, upon touching Wanda's hand, Psylocke sent a psychic pulse to probe Wanda's mind.

"Liz don't!"

Pietro shouted in a panic too late, realising what Liz was trying to do.

"You bitch!"

Wanda shouted as she felt the attempt to probe her mind.

All the anger and worry that she had been feeling and pushing down for the last few days, exploded out of her with the force of a small bomb.

Psylocke was flung across the room like a rag doll along with all the furniture. Pietro disappeared catching Psylocke before she was slammed into a wall, his speed so fast, it almost seemed to have teleported across the room. Everything else had been destroyed when it had been slammed into the walls

Psylocke was trying to stand up albeit slowly, Pietro helped her up, but it was obvious the attack had shaken her.

Her hair was dishevelled and there was blood coming out of her nose. She gingerly held her head.

"Your sister packs quite the punch."

Wanda looked ready to go for round two, red strands of energy flickering and cracking around her.

"Wanda! stop! Calm down!"

Pietro shouted.

"Why don't you tell that to your little girlfriend. She just tried to read my mind."

Wanda shot back.

Blob came rushing into the room, the whole mansion shaking with each step he took.

"What's going on! Are we getting attacked?!"

Pietro sped up to him.

"Everything is fine just a bit of family drama."

Blob's eyes swivelled around the room, seeing all the broken glass and furniture, Wanda's pissed off visage and Psylocke injuries.

"Things don't seem too fine to me." Blob said.

"If you two are quite finished." A deeply cultured voice said.

Wanda froze at the sound of the voice. Feeling like a bucket of cold water had been dumped on her she turned around.

An older man wearing a well made suit walked into the room surveying the damage with a raised eyebrow.

"Magneto." She said with venom.

"Now, now daughter, that's no way to greet your father."

"You're no father of mine!! Tell me what the hell are you up to?" She snarled.

He let out a smirk.

"Well....."

(Unknown Location - 2 days ago)

Magneto stood in the centre of the carefully prepared chamber looking around at his preparations, it had taken months of work to get here. But the preparations were almost complete, all of the work to get his powers back would be worth it in the end he was sure.

The old woman on the far side of the chamber stood up, with her bowl of blood and brush. Nodding silently at him that she was finished.

"Excellent." Eric said to the sorceress.

Magneto approached an ancient sarcophagus that had been placed in the centre of the room, careful not to touch it or the runes carved into the floor, looking at his last hope. Nodding to himself he moved back outside of the circle and tried not to think about the blood that had been used to fill the runes all over the room.

Looking over to the old woman;

On the opposite end of the tomb, a bound and gagged figure was situated in another large circle with a large black Rune burned into his forehead.

The figure struggled against his restraints eyes wide with fear. His Red skin was pale and covered in sweat, as he struggled to escape.

"I know you are. Pity you won't be around to see it." Magneto said, in response to the figure's silent pleas.

"Start the ritual."

He told the dark sorceress.

Azazel had only a moment to process this before the sorceress held out her hand and cut her palm with an obsidian dagger, letting blood fall onto the circle.

Azazel screamed as the symbol burned into his forehead started to glow bright red.

"Did you honestly think I would allow someone like you to remain at my side? You helped Shaw for years, you were his right hand man."

Magneto said with cold fury.

"No. Your purpose here was only ever to serve as a vessel. Rejoice, even in death. You remain useful. Thank you for your sacrifice."

The sarcophagus lid moved slightly and a black mist poured out. Which quickly took on the shape of a large featureless man.

Magneto couldn't help but feel a chill as he looked upon the being in front of him

Azazel screamed in pain as the shadowy wraith rose and took form in front of him.

Looking around the room for a moment before the wraith's eyes locked on the screaming Azazel.

As soon as their eyes locked Azazel stopped struggling and stared blankly as the shadow drifted towards him.

The sorceress's voice rose as her chant took on a darker tone the circles taking a much deep red hue. Magneto watched the shadow closely as it glided across the room, till it was in front of Azazel.

Eric could see that Azazel was still fighting what was about to happen to him, he could see it in his eyes. Even if looked like his body was locked in position.

The Shadow grabbed him by the throat and forcibly pulled him to his feet. The sorceress chant rose even higher and the red hued runes turned pitch black igniting into fire, Magneto involuntary took a step back from the cold flames as a deep part of himself recognised not to let those flames touch him.

The wraith then started to force it's way into Azazels body through his mouth. Choking, and whole body going into convulsions as the shadow forced it's way into his body. Within a minute the shadow had disappeared completely.

The flames died out with the ritual complete. Leaving the room still, as Azazel stood there breathing deeply with his eyes closed.

Eric absently noted that the sorceress had disappeared some how while he was watching the ritual, dismissing it as unimportant.

Walking across the room he stopped just outside the ritual circle.

"How do you feel?" Magneto asked.

Azazel was silent for a moment before he raised his head looking about the room for a minute. Of course, it was no longer Azazel. He looked down at one of his hands, which were producing, red brimstone like smoke.

"This vessel is... adequate."

En Sabah Nur, took a step out of the circle, and the world trembled.

Apocalypse walked the earth once more.
