5 Act 5 : Du Yuhan
(I decided to change the names of cultivation realms, note that 8th Tempered Body Realm became 8-star Body realm.)
One of the effect of perfecting my cultivation base is to lessen the difficulty of any future breakthrough, as this moment, breaking through to 8-star Body realm is an relatively easy task for me.
It's what I am currently trying to do, after all I have no doubt that Wang Yijun will soon enter the Element Realm and I can't let her take too much of an advance. Locked in my courtyard, I sat in lotus position and meditated until I cleared my mind of any thought.
After adjusting my breathing, I slowly began to rotate [ Nine Heavenly Tempered Body ] to strengthen the next part of my body and as such, breakthrough to 8-star Body Realm. In the 8th Body Realm, you have to widen and strengthen the dantian, it is considered as a major part of your foundation because your dantian will represent the cup that will hold the Qi you have accumulated.
The larger is your dantian and durable the more your future potential grow, In a fight with two cultivator of the same realm, the one who will last longer will be the one with the bigger dantian as he will hold much more Qi in comparison.
There are 4 grades of Dantian.
Bronze-Rank Dantian : Can hold the minimum possible amount of Qi.
Silver-Rank Dantian : Can hold 1,5x more Qi than the average (Bronze)
Gold-Rank Dantian : Can hold 3 times more Qi than Silver.
Legendary-Rank Dantian : Can hold 5 times more Qi than Gold rank.
The same applies also with the meridians in the 9-star Body Realm, it's especially why the Body Realm is considered as the core foundation of your cultivation. When you take time to build your foundation, you are sure that, if you don't die prematurely, you will hold some great achievements in the future. Unfortunately a lot of people become rash in the beginning, either they have some problems of security that force them to breakthrough the quickest way possible or they are just impatient and want to pass this Realm quickly, to attract attention on their "Cultivation Speed", However true master disdained those type of people.
Feeling the slight barrier within myself that prevented me to breakthrough, I controlled the Qi inside my body to break this barrier.

The Qi fluctuation around my body were the sign that I have successfully broke through and became a 8-star Body Cultivator.
This mean that I have succeeded at creating my Dantian, albeit it's still Bronze-Rank but it will upgrade the more I cultivate, after all the realm where I am actually is specifically focused on upgrading the dantian.
In this realm everyone upgrade the dantian until their reach their "limit" where they can't upgrade anymore no matter what. This limit is based on different criteria, Natural Talent, Constitution, Luck and the Cultivation Technique.
From the various book I read, Legendary-Rank Dantian or Meridians are very very rare, only the geniuses of geniuses hold such thing, and almost no one hold two at the same time. It's because normally Legendary-Rank Dantian or Meridians are constructed through luck, the probability of having one is less than 1% without talking about two.
However I have no doubt that those protagonist like Nie Lie or Yun Che can have those, after all there are surely in possession of heavenly cultivation techniques, the both of them.
Oh... I am so excited to destroy the both of you...
But this is still too soon, I am too weak currently, I need power, I need to be so powerful that enemies will despair when confronted to me.

Alright so first you provide me with skills and now even ressources ?
And it's not shabby at all ! In fact Top-Grade Pills are considered as priceless treasure and are treated as core foundation even in 1st class Sects !
However I know that completing those two quest will not be easy at all, completing one is feasible but the two at the same time will be tricky.
Anyway now I must concentrate on upgrading my Dantian, I will worry about my meridians when I will be a 9-star Body cultivator.
I gathered the Qi around me to nourish and wider my dantian, the effects were good as I sensed that my dantian improved at an insane speed.
After some hours I stopped, knowing when to rest is very important, I such I decided to advance in the System Quest, standing up, I walked toward the bathroom to shower.
Huh... Concerning my second aunt, it will surely be a lot harder that with Mo Xianyi. My second aunt is named Du Yuhan, she is the wife of Wang Shuren and the mother of Wang Yijun. She married my uncle after his first wife, the mother of my three male cousins, died.
Du Yuhan come from the Du family, a powerful clan in the main continent, the power of her family is incomparable to our own, it would be like comparing the Sky to the Earth. As such my father can be considered very lucky and apart from her daughter and husband, she seem to disdain everyone in our family, even her three step-sons. It also explain why Yijun is superior to anyone in the family, she have a better constitution that came from her mother and also better cultivation ressources from the Du Family. She is an arrogant woman who would not bother to look at a junior like me.
This sort of woman can not be interested with looks and talk alone, especially now that she is married and have a daughter. All I need is a little spark... something that can show her that I am not so simple... Argh given some time this can be done but I want to complete this quest the quickest way possible...
Tsk... Alright... There is no need to rush... I have at least 3 month before going in the sect. I should have time to breakthrough to the Element Realm and awaken my Martial Spirit who should be Kyōka Suigetsu, at this time, I will be able to shock her, for now all I need to do is to improve my relation with her little by little.

Well I am at least acquainted with everyone except Du Yuhan who remain indifferent toward me.
Having enough information for now I decide to force some interaction by strolling around the manor, it's the only thing I can do for now.
After I cleaned myself I dressed and then walked out of my courtyard.
Walking with my hands behind my back I decided to stroll near the area where my uncle live, maybe I will find Du Yuhan or Wang Yijun there.
"Hohoho look who is there ? Wang Wei, our soon to be fallen genius." A mocking voice came in front of him, three men appeared, their eyes contained disdain and they have a little mocking smile.
"Oya ? Wang Ning and... your two brothers surely ?" I responded with a polite smile, and with "honest" confusion on my face, Wang Jian and Wang Hu were immediately angered by such disrespect even Wang Ning was a little angry as he gritted his teeth.
"Ara... No need to be angry my dear cousins, Alright I excuse myself for forgetting your names, It's just that I tend to forget the names of insignificant characters, I truly hope I haven't offended." I said, with a pained face and wry smile.

Oh ? So that's the hidden presence I sensed... interesting, it seem like those two don't particularly like my cousins.
Looking at the strained faces of my cousins almost made me laugh out loud. They seemed to use all their willpower to hold their anger.
It's not their fault though, Aizen can be very provocative when he want, it's very difficult to maintain his calm before this guy, his mind games are truly a terrifying ability.
"Wang Wei I will certainly beat you in the future." Wang Ning hissed hatefully, it was clearly him the leader of the trio.
I gave him a little confident smile, "Ah... Ning'er, don't use such strong words. It'll only make you look weak." I said with a friendly smile, such vicious words were spoken like it was a selfless friendly reminder. Which caused Wang Ning to become red in anger and the two hidden woman to be slightly shocked.
The last straw that contained Wang Ning anger was completely broken, he looked like an enraged beast, without any warning he leaped toward Wang Wei, his killing intent leaking without any restrain.
My smile widened as Wang Ning approached toward me.
However two shadow immediately came and with a single hit in the head, Wang Ning was unconscious.
Looking at the two newcomers, my smile widened. Wang Jian and Wang Hu looked horrified.
It is Du Yuhan and Wang Yijun.

"M-Mother you have to punish him ! He offended us !" Wang Jian mustered his courage and spoke in attempt to get revenge on Wang Wei.
"Shut up you two !" She said loudly in a cold voice, being called mother by these three weaklings has always bothered her.
Wang Jian's face paled, he trembled in fear and anger before putting his head down.
Du Yuhan turned toward myself, I proceed examined her.
She have the appearance of a woman in her thirties, she have short black hair and beautiful blue eyes, her body is slim and curved with wide hips and a big rounded butt.
After I completed my stealthy inspection I smiled politely at her and said "Senior Du, I own you sincere thanks. I don't know what would have happen if you weren't here."
Du Yuhan snorted, "You know very well what would have happen, you tricky brat." She said with a little smile.
"Believe me that I don't hold much affection for those good-for-nothing but as the sons of my husband I need to show at least some consideration." She said with a neutral expression.
"Oya... Really ? That's too bad..." I mutter with a low voice that only Du Yuhan and Wang Yijun could hear, my smile turned more mysterious and my glasses were partially hiding my eyes.
Du Yuhan shuddered, "This brat is not simple ! He is clearly scheming something !" She thought inside her head.
I turned toward Wang Yijun, my smile became more amicable and polite, "Ah... Yijun, It seem you are close to breakthrough. I am so proud of you, from a little girl you are slowly becoming a young woman. I have high expectations for you so don't slack off, after all, we will be in the same sect in the future so let's do our best to shine."
Wang Yijun frowned and gritted her teeth in anger. She didn't like the way Wang Wei was talking to her like he was her superior. He called her directly by her name then he insinuated that she is still a little girl and not a woman, before giving her advice like he was her senior in cultivation. All of those hints made her angry and slightly scared.
Du Yuhan also frowned, it seemed that she has underestimated this junior.
Suddenly I looked at the sky and showed a little surprised expression, "Ara...! It look like I didn't saw the time fly. Senior Du, Yijun, I will not take any further of your time." Without looking back I turned back and walked toward my room, leaving a slightly angry Yijun and a solemn Du Yuhan.

After Wang Jian and Wang Hu departed with Wang Ning on their back, only Du Yuhan and her daughter Wang Yijun remained here.
"Yijun, this kid Wang Wei is dangerous, you should remain on your guard around him." Du Yuhan said suddenly, surprising a little Yijun.
"Mother, even though he is a little tricky, I am still stronger than him. You always told me that everything is useless before power." She said confused, from her children days her mother kept telling her that power is the solution of everything and that any kind of schemes or trickery were useless before ultimate power.
Du Yuhan remained silent, seemingly pondering about something before she answered, "In front of Wang Ning's provocation he kept his calm and even provoked him to attack him, for some reason Wang Wei knew that we were hiding and looking, so he purposely angered Wang Ning to either force us out or to kill Wang Ning." She said, bringing Yijun to shock.
"He would have kill Wang Ning ?" She said shocked. Although she don't have any good feelings toward her three half-brothers, they still are from the same family, surely killing for a simple grudge would not happen.
"It seem more complicated... He doesn't seem like one that kill this easily, surely Wang Ning must have done something that annoyed him. But it's just a theory I am not sure." She said placing her hand on her chin in contemplation.
She looked at her daughter and spoke seriously, "Also, don't you find it weird that he angered you successful only with some provocation ? I remind you that your Ice Cultivation Technique greatly enhanced your mind and heart." She said with a solemn expression.
Wang Yijun's eyes widened at this fact, she completely overlooked this detail, her face grew serious. She cultivate a strong Ice Technique that suppresses all her emotions, so make her feel anger is not a small feat.
"You understand now ? This brat way of doing is very tricky, all his words seem calculated. Today he took the psychological ascendant on you... it was surely planned, he seem to be sure to fight you in the future. Wang Yijun, my daughter, do you understand now why I said to be on guard around him ? This guy is the worst kind of opponent possible... However we are lucky that his talent can't compare to yours." Du Yuhan explained to Yijun the previous situation before sighing in relief.
Unfortunately Du Yuhan don't know yet how wrong her assumption is.
Wang Yijun seemed relieved somewhat however deep inside, she knew, Wang Wei took the ascendant.

Now not only I leaved a certain shadow in Yijun's mind that will advantage me in the competition but you also improved my image by praising me unconsciously.
You wanted to help your daughter but you only made my win more easier.
I smiled mysteriously before taking the lotus position again, I have to use my current time to become stronger.
