Chapter 1

My name is Jacob I was walking home from work again. People don't normally talk to me which is nothing new, in all honesty people should stay away from me. The reason is I'm not a normal human. However this night was different. A girl tapped on my shoulder and I turned around and looked at her.

"Yes?" I said.

"Um, hi I don't know if you know who I am" She said.

That girl is Lexi, she's someone I work with.

"Yes Lexi, I know who you are" I replied

"Oh, good, I just wanted to say that you're cute and do you want to go out sometime?" Lexi asked.

I sighed and said "Thanks but I prefer to be alone"

Honestly this is not the first time I said something like this, I have to keep telling people this but it's safer because I'm part wolf or what humans calls us 'werewolves'. Once I told Lexi that I'd prefer to be alone she looked sad, so I just turned around and was about to walk away but the she grabbed my arm.

"Don't leave me" She said.

I sighed and said "Look I'm dangerous so please leave me alone and keep your distance"

She giggled and said "You dangerous, that's a good one cause I don't think you can even hurt a fly"

Of course she wouldn't believe me but she won't stop getting close to me

"Just give me a chance, I'll treat you good" Lexi said.

I was getting irritated and I looked at her and said "NO!!!"

"Perhaps you're just cranky because you don't have any friends. Come with me." She said.

Honestly I would go with her, but I couldn't because my parents always told me that I'm dangerous, and humans will only hurt you if they know who you truly are. So I looked at her and said "I-I-I can't"

She looked sad and confused and said "Why?"

I replied saying "I can't say"

She said "Please just come with me"

I said "Fine but this is the only time you can hang with me, after this you have to keep your distance. So where are we heading to?"

"My house" She replied.

"I don't know where that is" I said.

She smiled "of course you don't silly, I'll take you there"

"Lead the way" I replied.

She brought me to her house and it was your ordinary house, nothing too special. I mean it wasn't as fancy as my house but it's still pretty good.

"Hmm... not bad" I said at last

"What do you mean" she asked surprised by my response

"Well it's not as great as my house but it's ok" I told her

"I don't understand" she replied.

"Oh don't worry about it" I replied.

"Come on let's get inside" she said.

She led me inside her house, it was fairly well decorated with paintings of all sorts. I recognized one of them. She had a fireplace with a T.V. on top of it. The house was fairly open with little to no hallways. There was a scent in the air I couldn't quite identify.

"What's that smell" I said.

"Oh that's just my scented candle" she replied.

"What's the scent?" I asked immediately.

"Watermelon" she replied.

"Nice, also I have a question" I said.

"And I have an answer" she replied

"Where's the bathroom?" I asked

She giggled and said "follow me"

She led me down to the left of the house and the 2nd door on the right was the bathroom. I went inside the bathroom. The bathroom in her house is just as ordinary as you think but there was one difference. The bathtub was fancy, it looked more like a hot tub than a bathtub. Once I was done admiring the bathroom I used it.
