Building a world especially a large one like a cultivation one is quite taxing. Chapter 41: The Dragon Vs The Devil Part 1

Under the moonlight, a figure could be seen appearing and disappearing in quick bursts. The figure travelled airborne with no heed to whatever what was below it. It's pace constant and steady.

Ulquiorra used sonido to quickly travel bypassing the landscape and obstacles underneath. He had gotten the location of rhe Gilded Dragon sect from Tian Cai. The city the sect was located in was centered around the sect. The name of the location was Dragon's Jewel city.

The city was located extremely far from Rising Dawn city, and travelling there would normally require weeks or even a month or so. One needed to traverse through forests, hills, and plains that also had the danger of beasts. Fortunately, Ulquiorra can easily ignore all those. What would take others a long time would only take him a few hours.

Looking at Ulquiorra's steady pace, Tian Cai could only marvel at it. He initially thought that this technique was something that could only be used in quick short bursts, but seeing Ulquiorra travelling without showing any sort of fatigue proved him otherwise.

"This technique, what was its name again?" Tian Cai's voice rang out in Ulquiorra's mind.

"Sonido." Ulquiorra answered swiftly with an emotionless voice.

"Sonido...a peculiar name." Tian Cai muttered to which Ulquiorra paid no heed to.

Tian Cai was not used to a naming scheme like this. The techniques that cultivators usually had grandoise and long names. It has been the norm since time immemorial. He didn't hate it though. Still, Ulquiorra's movement technique possessed a name that he could not understand the meaning of. It was truly a peculiar name.

Ulquiorra moved swiftly. As he moved, he didn't forget to look at the sight below him. While the time he had to look at each instance was short before blurring due to sonido, he would not miss a single detail. His eyes took all the information in, and he would remember them easily.

He could see all sorts of things. The lush forests, the green hills, and even the vast plains were all things that were absent in the world of Hueco Mundo. Occasionally, he would be able to sense cultivators and even normal humans travelling the lands. It was a very quiet night. Sadly, it was about to change quite soon.

This was because, they had arrived.

"There it is." Tian Cai's voice echoed in Ulquiorra's mind.

Ulquiorra could see a city much larger than Rising Dawn city. The walls it had made it seem as if the ones around Rising Dawn city were merely fences. It was extremely tall reaching around at least a couple hundred meters in height. On top of the towering walls laid outposts wherein guards were stationed. Sensing their strength, Ulquiorra could see that each and every one of them had middle to late Foundation Establishment cultivation.

Ulquiorra didn't wish to go through the normal way. He used sonido, and went higher, and once he reached a high enough height, he directly used sonido to go past the tall walls. This was done extremely quickly without alerting the guards. Ulquiorra then appeared within an alley. It was just like the first time he appeared in Rising Dawn city.

Unfortunately, there were no thugs this time that tried to harass Ulquiorra. Ulquiorra went out of the alley, and looked at the city. Everything had a similar architecture or style to the buildings found in Rising Dawn city, but everything was more grand or refine. Even the streets were more spacious. Still, everything remained in silence as it was deep in the night.

Using pesquisa, Ulquiorra scanned the area, and tried to find the Gilded Dragon sect. Ulquiorra could sense clusters of cultivators in different places, and he assumed this were small sects. Still, this clusters were quite small as opposed to the massive cluster he found directly at the heart of the city.

Ulquiorra moved towards the largest cluster of cultivators, and there he found what seemed to be akin to a palace that conformed to the surrounding architecture. It was massiva, and the entrance to it had stone pillars which supported archs leading into the entrance. It even had a long snake life golden dragon sculpture on its roof. There were guards positions around the perimeter.

(AN: Basically a more massive ancient chinese palace with the added features above)

"A grandiose structure. This fits the dwelling of the emperor rather than a sect. This speaks volumes about their ambition." Tian Cai commented.

Ulquiorra didn't reply to the comment, but he agreed inwardly. It seemed that he might have to expect seeing more grand structures if he comes to the central region. Still, this only made him think one thing.

So what?

Ulquiorra raised his finger. He pointed directly at the center. Spirit power gathering on his fingertip. This time, he had no need of condensing his energy or making it small. His aim right now was one thing.

To destroy.

"cero"

A fifteen meter wide green cero shot out from Ulquiorra's fingertip. The guards noticed it, but could not react quick enough. The cero seemed to have hit some sort of barrier formation as a transparent layer appeared trying to stop the upcoming cero, but alas, it could not resist before being torn like paper. The cero was about to hit the building when several rays of lights shot out from the building.

Eleven elders bearing the sect robes of the Gilded Dragon sect appeared while there was another elder with a dragon like head piece in front of them. They all made unique symbols with their hands, and blocked the cero. Five elders got flung away while two coughed blood. The rest seemed tired including the leader. Still, they were able to negate the cero.

The leader looked at Ulquiorra with a furious expression.

"YOU DARE ATTACK THE EXALTED GILDED DRAGON SECT! WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT?!" The man bellowed with qi enhancing his voice allowing it to be heard all throughout the city.

Ulquiorra stared at the man before replying with a cold voice.

"The strong has rights over the weak."
