In the Three Kingdom continent, the Yuan techniques were divided into four levels, Basic, Spirit, Earth, and Heaven. While further each Level was divided into Low, Mid, and High.
Just to get an Earth-level technique, many powerhouses battled to the death to obtain it, but the Lords of the Kingdoms also had limited Earth-level techniques. This was why many Noble Clans put a high security to keep the Earth-level techniques safe.
Any Ye Clan member below the age of 20 years, who reaches the 9th stage of the Ture Yuan State Realm could have a chance to enter the Martial Library Tower to get a Qi Cultivation Technique.
The Carriage stopped at the foot of Martial Library Tower and the two guards with the Yuan Dwelling realm bowed to Ye Heng, he nodded his head and came to the door of Martial Library Tower with his grandson Ye Chen.
After four years of Qi cultivation, Ye Chen grew mature, the quenching body realm made his small figure frame as sturdy as the height of a normal 15-year-old kid. Ye Chen looked at his missing arm, while there was a sword mark on the old man's nose, even though he looked normal on the outside, and felt that this old man was not a normal person to deal with and he knew the wars with the Demonic cultivators at the Frontlines.
'This old man should be guarding the Martial Library Tower' Ye Chen had a keen thought after all there were many warriors from Ye Clan who contributed to the Frontlines and gave their lives to protect the peace on Three Kingdoms Continent while some returned safely to Ye Clan.
"Such a young age and you are already in the 9th stage of Ture Yuan State Realm," said the one-armed old man with a serene voice that contradicted his coarse face with a sword mark.

Ye Chen walked to the circle stairs at the center of the ground floor, while passing through the floors he saw many piles of books on the first three floors each a middle-aged person with a grey robe cleaning the books and putting them in order.
When Ye Chen stepped to the fourth floor, felt the pressure on him as he saw the scrolls placed on the shelves and knew all these scrolls were the Spirit level techniques.
"Remember you only get one fighting technique and Qi Cultivation technique, normally a person gets a Spirit level technique but because your talent is high you will get a chance to gain two Earth level techniques but it depends on your ability," said the one-armed old man as Ye Chen eyes brightened with greedy and couldn't wait to gain an Earth level technique and become strong.
In Ye Clan, a three-year annual match will be held to select the talented persons and let them choose the Earth Level fighting technique but in the case of Earth-level Qi cultivation technique, it was given only when the person was highly talented and Ye Chen was hailed as a genius with only starting four years of cultivation, had already reached 9th stage of True Yuan State Realm and also, he had the talent in Alchemy with this alone he was eligible to choose the Earth level techniques.
The one-armed old man took Ye Chen to the fifth floor, where Ye Chen saw the jade pieces roaming in the open space, he was slightly surprised seeing the flying jade pieces as he saw humans flying in the sky and he always felt envious, wanted to experience the feeling to fly in the air.
"Stand on the array and control the Qi in the surroundings, those Jade pieces will choose you based on your capacity to control Qi," said the One-armed old man with an exciting gaze with a hint of eagerness to know how many Earth-level techniques would select Ye Chen.
Ye Chen nodded his head, stood on the array, and closed his eyes as the Qi around him increased with density while the array was slowly absorbing the Qi, light up a circle in the array while no jade pieces selected him, then Ye Chen increased the Qi within a short period 5 circle light up in array as two jade pieces selected him but Ye Chen didn't stop he wanted the best Earth level techniques and continued his effort.
'This kid is not bad to light up 5 circles but still not giving up is the same as your grandfather' thought the one-armed old man with a chuckle and waited to see how many circles could Ye Chen light up.
Ye Chen's sturdy young body was sweating after he lit up the 6th circle and three more Jade pieces selected him. Even still Ye Chen felt that he didn't fully activate the circle, his handsome face was sweaty, and opened his while trying his last Qi stored in his body.
"SWOOH!!"
A bright blue light shone, brightening the entire floor and the phenomenon caused an uproar among the Ye Clan's members as all of them gazed at the 6-floor Tower.
"A person selected our Ancestral technique!" shouted a Ye Clan member with a shocked face, knowing the selection process in the Martial Library Tower to choose an Earth-level technique.
"But who got the Ancestral technique!" questioned someone while faintly thinking of the new raising genius.
"May be the Young master Ye Chen" a female admirer said out loud as everyone felt the same. The commotion made the elders come out of their houses and gazed the tower with deep look.
In Ye Chen's mansion, Ye Chuang also looked up at the Martial Library Tower with a proud face while stopping his meditation after all the commotion caused by her son. After knowing his younger brother is already in the 9th stage Golden Core Realm, puts his concentration on cultivation while in his leisure time, he teaches his son to fight.
"Well, this kid proved that he was the descendent of Ye Heng," said the One-armed old man with slight pride seeing a genius from his Ye Clan.
"Huh~,…Huh~" Ye Chen panted while he wiped the sweat on his face, glanced at the crimson jade piece and another jade piece which two selected him after he lit up the seventh circle in the array.
"Haha good after many years you are the first one to make me amazed of course there's another kid but never expected you to be selected by High Earth level Qi cultivation technique and Mid Earth level Sword technique," said the One-armed Old man while gazed at the crimson jade piece with nostalgic remembering his younger days when he selected the Earth level Qi cultivation technique.
"The crimson jade piece was the Crimson Blaze Mantra, the highest Flame cultivation technique in the entire Three Kingdom Continent while the other one is from the Great Han Dynasty's Emperor given to us as a gift, Ruthless Killing technique" explained the One-armed Old man seeing the Ye Chen doubted his face.
"How should I learn these techniques, Senior" asked Ye Chen as he didn't know how to use the Jade pieces.
"Put it on your forehead, automatically the information fed into your mind," said the One-armed Old man as Ye Chen first placed the Crimson Jade piece on his forehead, he felt the mild tingling pain in his mind but absorbed the cultivation technique then later, he learned the Sword technique.
After that those Jade pieces flew into the open space while getting together with the other Jade pieces, Ye Chen clenched his fist with excitement as he couldn't wait to start the Qi cultivation not knowing his future, he would face a misfortune that he reduced to waste…
