*DEMONS OR MONSTERS?*

He couldn't believe she fearlessly did that?. And of course, the creature regained itself before she could, preparing to kill whatever had disturbed it's lunch.

When it was about to go to her, lucas teleported between them and plunged his sword in the creature's stomach before pulling it back. Fortunately that was the leader, so the rest creatures followed suit, disappearing from there.

Lisa who was on the floor stood up only to stare at an angry looking Lucas.

"Are you fucking stupid!!"The words flew out of his mouth and he didn't regret it one bit.

"What?"Her brown eyes stared at him in confusion.

"So you're blaming me now?"she asked with her voice cracking at the end.

Something stirred within him but he quickly pushed it away. He couldn't afford any mistakes.

"Yes I am.. what if something happened to you?"

"Why would you care?"she said and I knew exactly what she was trying to do.

He took a step forward and she moved backwards making him twitch my lips in annoyance. She could jump on a demon, but when it came to him she was running?.

"Because it's my job Lisa " He answered not revealing more than what was said.

Noticing her brother waking up lucas knew he wasn't what he posed to be. Leaning in he whispered into her ears. At least that way he will occupy her mind. And he left.

Pov of lisa

Rushing into the restaurant I met total chaos. I noticed strange creatures that scared me to the core. They had red eyes and scaly skin and they were lean in appearance but what didn't go unnoticed where the two horns that stood out on their heads. Were they demons?. Right at that moment,I saw my brother was about to get hit by one of the strange looking creatures so I made the best decision possible.

Without thinking twice I ran towards it and jumped on it, shocking both me and it.

"Ughh..."I groaned in pain because of the impact. I really need to stop falling on floors.

The creature growled in anger lunching it's claws at me.

I shut my eyes tightly expecting the worse and praying to God to save me one last time. Feeling nothing I wondered if the death was so quick that I instantly died. I opened my eyes to see Lucas and I don't think he was happy to see me. But at least I didn't die, that was the good news.

"Are you fucking stupid!!"his eyes glared at me in anger.

My body became still for a moment before I replied"What?"

"So you're blaming me now?"I said feeling a prick in my heart.

"Yes I am, what if something happened to you?"I could hear the clear frustration in his voice.

"Why would you care?"I returned the glare,though now realising he was indeed many inches taller than me.

He took a step towards me and I unconsciously took a step backwards. I watched as his lips twitched in annoyance.

"Because it's my job Lisa"My curiousity piqued at what he said. what did he mean by his job?. I got ready to ask him my question but he disappeared from my sight.

"We will continue when you're home Lisa"I heard his voice whisper into my ears, sending a shiver down my spine.
