Helpless In A Mundane World

Li Chen darted into the elevator, throwing a swift punch at the man without thinking twice. Unfortunately, his fist traveled much slower than he expected.

The man deftly evaded the punch and pushed him back. Li Chen's back slammed the wall, prompting him to grimace.

'That hurts,' he groaned inwardly.

WHOOSH—!

Leaning his head to the right, he narrowly evaded the man's punch. "What is wrong with you?"

Li Chen bellowed, threw his body against the man and in the process, hit his shoulder directly at the man's chest.

The impact made a dull thud. 

BAM—!

The man also slammed the wall. He groaned but to his shock, a fist connected with his cheek, launching his head toward the wall on his left.

"Tell me why you're after her." Li Chen grabbed his collar, only for the man's knee to hit his abdomen.

The force made Li Chen recoil and fall to his knees. Strength seemed to drain out of his body instantly.
