After setting his foot on the mall, he realized that he haven't washed his brushes yet. I'll get back to it later. He thought to himself as he ascended to the second floor through the escalator.

He was heading for the School Supplies. It was June and the public school just started classes last Monday. So the place was quite crowdy with moms looking for certain stuffs that their kids are required to bring to school.

Being familiar with the store already, he walked directly to the colored cartolinas and started pulling out some reds and light yellow ones. He had his hand on the bright pink cartolina when someone caught his hand.

Darylle looked at the person next to him, who let go of his hand in an instant "Sorry," the handsome stranger said and smiled at him. "It's okay. Go on." Darylled replied as he let the stranger took one cartolina. He proceed to the counter as Darylle barely heard him muttering thanks.

He was alone counting the cartolinas he gathered when he felt someone staring at him. He looked around and realized that it was the handsome stranger. The stranger smiled at him but Darylle was counting the cartolinas again before he could even see it.

By the time he lined up for the cashier, Darylle could no longer find the handsome stranger inside the store. He's definitely his type. A bit taller than him. Fair-skinned. Edgy haircut with little to no amount of hair gel to keep it spiky.

He was thinking of him and how he stared at him when he heard the cashier calling for him. Embarrassed, he quickly placed his items on the counter when he noticed someone behind him shaking silently.

Darylle turned around for a bit and realized that it was in fact the handsome stranger, laughing at him. Wait, how did he get there? He thought to himself as he handed his payment to the cashier.

After paying to the cashier, he carried the rolled cartolinas outside the store and walked as quickly as he can. He was struggling holding the cartolinas together that he almost dropped them. But someone quickly helped him.

It was the stranger. "Careful there." He said. "Thanks." Darylle replied as he get the hold of the cartolinas and walked to the escalator. "Let me carry some of that." The stranger said as he took half of the cartolinas even though he was holding a plastic bag containing his purchase. "I can carry all of it." Darylle told him. "No you can't." The stranger said, teasing him.

They reached the ground floor as Darylle followed the stranger since he had the cartolinas. "Wait. Where are you going? I need my cartolinas." The stranger turned to him. "I'm driving you home."

"No you can't. I don't even know you." He argued as he tried to push the cartolinas off him. "You'll ruin them." He said as he jumped away from him. "Just give them to me please. I can manage." He begged.

"I'll help you manage them." He teased again. Darylle tried to calm himself. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. But the moment he opened it, he was face to face with him.

"I'm Erik by the way. Now that you know me, you'll let me drive you home." He said as Darylle noticed his cartolinas disappeared. "Where are my cartolinas?" He asked. "In the car, now let's go." He said.

He took a deep breath once again. "Fine. If you insist. But if you think of doing something bad to me, I just want to let you know that I know a bit of karate." The stranger seemed to be amuse of him. "Really? Though I'm not really bad." He took something from his wallet and hand it to him. "Here's my I.D. if you really find me suspicious."

Darylle took it and realized that it was an alumni I.D. of the university where he finished his degree. "Wait...you went to UB as well?" The stranger smiled. "Yeah."

He put his I.D. to his back pocket. "Okay. I'll let you take me home. You can take your I.D. once you drop me home." He compromised. "If that what makes you comfortable." Erik said.

And so Darylle sat on the front seat next to him. He didn't know much about cars but this one must be pretty expensive, plus it looks new.

Oh boy what am I into? Darylle thought to himself as Erik drive his way out of the parking lot and into the busy street.
