Chapter 18: Drowning in Alcohol

Things went back to normal. Autumn promise to not bottle her feelings. And we kept our traditions. I was an ass for what I said to her that day. So today I decided to have the whole day with Auty. Starting with cake and movies. I ordered our favorite, which is red velvet cake. And then we would have a slumber party in her bedroom. That's what we always did before Christmas and our birthday. Just us no one else.

"You didn't have to do this." Autumn said while cutting two pieces of cake.

"It was much needed. I behaved like an ass and I feel bad cause I hurt you. Now let's watch a marathon of horror movies and eat cake." I said while giving her a side hug.

She just chuckled. We spent the whole day together. Our phones were in our bedrooms. I told Jade about my plans and she understood perfectly. A few hours went by and we fell asleep on the couch. Dad walked in and put a blanket on us.
