Chapter 16: Happy Birthday, Blue and Autumn

Today we were turning eighteen. I couldn't believe it. Finally adults. Woohoo. Autumn stayed in my bedroom last night. Our parents came inside with a cake and woke us up by singing happy birthday.

"Happy birthday, girls." They said in unison. "Thanks." we replied while hugging them. We made a wish and blow the candles. Mom put it on the night stand.

"I can't believe our babies are eighteen." Dad sighed.

"I know, they grew up really fast." Mom said while hugging us.

"We will always be your babies, ones that are eighteen and are going to a club to party." I said while making a little dance. Autumn just laughed.

"No drinking please, and also no dancing like crazy." Dad added.

"You got it, daddy'o." He just sighed. He hated when I called him that. I love to tease my dad. "Alright birthday girls, get ready cause everyone will be here at twelve for lunch." Mom said before leaving with dad.

"Happy birthday, Auty." I hugged her, "Happy birthday, Blue." She hugged back.
