A Hero, a Fallen Friend and a Vampire

Zeroll walked into the meeting room where leaders from every part and city of human empire were waiting for him. He already had some idea what this meeting was about. A lot of people knew each other and were busy talking with each other.

"Ladies and gentlemen, can I have this attention please?" John cleared his throat and continued, "He's here. Please take a seat Mr. Lancaster."

"Thank you." Zeroll said and sat down on the opposite side from the rest.

"I would like to thank the delegates for coming over here on such short notice." John spoke up when everyone had settled down. "Now officially announce the commencement of the emergency meeting. First show me to show you some video clips that are of importance, I know you'd have some concerns and question but for the time being just watch the presentation."

The then looked towards the operator and nodded and soon a video started playing on the blank screen. It was the recorded footage from the battle between the humans and a dozen of other being who were presumably vampires. The humans and Orcs were at an advantage and soon only two vampires remained. But then out of nowhere a Minotaur appeared and almost the entire human force vanished. One of the remaining recorders then recorded man's footage who calmly walked in front of them, handed the Minotaur a sword and then slaughtered the remaining human empire forces.

Although it was all a bit blurred but the delegates immediately knew who the man was. They looked at Zeroll with hostility in their eyes but as soon as Zeroll focused his gaze on them, a chill went down their spine and they quickly focused on the white screen. The next video started and they saw a gigantic army of monsters headed towards a city and how a lone warrior rushed towards them and killed them all using thousands of monsters that he could control somehow. Even if the humans had helped him by launching missiles it was still an incredible feat none the less.

"Who is he?" The same thing was going on every person's mind.

The scene changed and soon a group of three people appeared in front of him. The delegates thought Zeroll would easily take control of the situation, they couldn't be more wrong. Although he managed to kill one of them, the man who was attacking Zeroll suddenly changed into a beast and a bloody fight commenced, it looked like Zeroll was going to die but he somehow managed to survive. The human forces were deployed but the two remaining 'monsters' managed to get away.

"I think you can already imagine what we are dealing with here. If one of the core cities were to be attacked in a similar way, the consequences would be very dangerous. Thus we need to deal with them as soon as we can." John explained,

And the only person who has important Intel about them and can fight them is him." He pointed a finger at Zeroll. "I know he killed some of our soldiers but these are trying times, we have to set our differences aside and try to work together and end this once and for all."

"He's alone here, in the middle of our empire we should imprison him and force out all the Intel from him!" One if the delegates shouted.

Before anyone could even think about what the delegate had just said, like lightning a minotaur and another humanoid creature were standing in Zeroll's either side. They were none other than Hades and Weonan. Everyone was frightened by the sudden appearance of the monsters, few even stumbled and fell down.

"Didn't you saw what I can do?" Zeroll spoke in a low voice. "Or are you retarded? I'm not thrilled to work with any of you either. I hate people like you who think they can do whatever they want, to whoever you want to do. Someone like you tried to mess with me before and now he's six feet under. Would you like to give him some company maybe?

"If we work together we can deal with them faster and efficiently. Don't get me wrong. I can deal with them myself but it'll take time and who knows what would happen to your previous cities during that time. If you help me, I'll fight to defend your cities till my last breath." Zeroll said and knocked on the table with his fingers and asked once more, "All clear?"

"Loud and clear. Meeting dismissed." Hearing this everyone left the room except John and Zeroll, John spoke once again, "Thanks for your help. But there's something else I'd like to tell you."

"What is it?" Zeroll replied with an uninterested time in his voice.

"We managed to save a couple of your comrades from Livania-"

HALF AN HOUR LATER...

"Kayla!" Zeroll ran up to her bed. "You're alive!"

"Zeroll is that YOU?" Kayla said as she raised her mechanical hands to feel him up. Only then Zeroll realised that Kayla's eyes and arms were ripped apart.

"Yes it's him." It was Nissa who replied.

"I'm glad you're alive too Nissa!" He exclaimed as they hugged.

"I'm immortal and stuff. They can stop me but can't kill me however it wasn't the case for my people." Nissa said, her voice filled with hatred.

Zeroll nodded and sat next to Kayla.

"Can we do something about it?" Zeroll asked Nicholas.

"You can try to heal her eyes but there are no guarantees that it'll work But I'm afraid it's too late for her arms." Nicholas replied.

"It's fine." He said and started removing her eye patch.

"What are you doing?" The nurse questioned him.

"You out. Now." Zeroll coldly replied.

The doctors and nurses were ordered to do whatever Zeroll asked them to by John and so they left even though they didn't want to. Arnold then summoned Arabella out as he covered her eyes with the palm of his hands. He then used God's Grace on them with help of Arabella. After channeling his powers for half an hour he removed his hands from the eyes.

"I hope it worked. Kayla could you try to slowly open your eyes?"

"I-I guess.." She replied as she slowly opened her eyes. "I... I CAN SEE AGAIN!"

Tears of joy and happiness gushed out of her newly regenerated eyes as she looked at her loved ones. Zeroll immediately hugged both Kayla and Nissa.

"I'm so so so sorry for everything that happened to you because of me. I swear I'll make it all better even it is the last thing I do."

"We know you will." They smiled and caressed the back if his head.
