hey " I looked up from my book at the face of the person who I thought was talking to me.

" can I help you? " I asked him, what is he looking for now.

" can I sit here? " Adam asked,he didn't wait for me reply before he sat down.

" you are already seated " I said and picked my book up to read again, trying my possible best to ignore him.

" oh I am. " he said and smiled, showing his dimples in both cheeks.

" what can I do for you? " I asked him bluntly because truth be told I wanted him to fuck off. I need to be in a really good mood today for the dinner this night.

" well nothing much. I just want to be friends with you " he said and smiled widely. I rolled my eyes

" well I don't like making friends ... Uhm...Adam " I said before looking into his eyes clearly with a frown on my face.

" I pictured you as someone who would be shy but nice but you are just so harsh and cold... Why? " he asked and I stared at him with my eyes wide opened. Who was he to judge me or tell me how I am because no one in this school knows me at all.

" excuse me? " I asked and I stood up.

" you are just being cold that's all. Many girls would die to get my attention right now and you are like this " he said hitting his fingers on the table softly.

" well Adam one. I'm not many girls, my name is Elizabeth. Two, I don't want to be your friend either so stop showing your face to me. I have things I need to do so I will leave first " I said and carried my bag before leaving the class..

What the hell, who does he think he is coming into my life and telling me things like its his own life... I don't think I need any other thing to make me befriend him because I already hate him as fuck.. I made my way to the lunch room to read before the bell for lunch actually sounds...

" hey Betty .. You excited for dinner tonight? " Alex cued as she took the seat opposite mine. It is lunch time now and I could see people filing in and out of the cafeteria.

" Alex.. Well I am. How was advanced maths " I asked her as I sipped my drink gently. Alex dropped her bag on the floor and put her phone on the table. She had a big smile on her face too.

" well. As much as I like maths, advanced class is just so annoying. Why can't I be in your maths class " she whined and took my bag of chips before opening it.

" one that's my own lunch so go order yours. The line is just ten feet away from here " I said and I snatch my bag of chips from her right before she opened it. " two your brain is just too big Alex so deal with the maths class. Don't worry to make you feel better, we still have eleven months till graduation " I said and took a bite out of my chips.

" wow I feel so much better " she said in sarcasm...

" okay moody pants, why are you in a bad mood... But I will hear later, now I have to go to that side " she said pointing to the food shop in the cafeteria " and get one ice cream sandwich and one caramel popcorn and then i will get myself a nice juice box and get my ass back here so we can talk so keep the details for me " she said standing up and soon she was gone .

" I wonder why am friends with her... Oh wait I love her " I muttered as I sipped on my drink again.

" hi, I see that your leg is better " I looked up see the guy from the library. He had a smile on his face as he held his bag and a book.

" well its better. I can walk with it but it still hurts. " I said smiling back .

" so do you always read every where you go? " I find myself asking him before I could stop myself.

" sure I'm a nerd... " he joked and I smiled " no its a hobby. I like reading. What about you, you even have a special spot in the library " he said sitting beside me.

" well let's just say reading is my comfort zone. " I said smiling

" that's good. Do you mind if we meet sometimes to swap books and hang out? " he asked .

" sure no problem.." I said

" okay can I have your contact so it will be easier, well that's if you... You .. want to give me. I..I'm not imposing or something " he said stammering. I find that cute.

" sure I don't mind " I said and I collected his phone. Then I pressed my digits into it before giving it back.

" Thanks... I better go before my friends kill me " he said and I nodded my head and smiled.

" I will text you Elizabeth " he said and with that, he left... Before I had time to digest what just happened, my sorry excuse of a best friend plopped her tray hard on the table with one of those smiles mum gives you when you have a date....

" Betty. Now you have a lot of things to tell me... " she said and threw her butt forcefully against the chair with her eyes glued on me...

" that's Shawn " I stated

" what the actual hell I know that's Shawn but why is he talking to you. He has never spoken to a girl like that before " she said, well more like she was yelling.

" he just collected my number that's all " I said and shrugged...

" oh my God. He freaking collected your number.... He likes you Betty " she squeaked...

" uhm.... " I said and stare at her oddly... " he doesn't... He helped me when I sprained my ankle." I said

" oh my god you guys had a meet cute... Headlines the cute virgin boy falls for the hot virgin girl " she said clapping her hands together.

" oh no no no no... There will be no headlines and thats just so weird. Please stop jumping to conclusions so I don't eventually puke my lunch " I stated and cringed my nose in disgust..

" well that's what they all say at the beginning. Soon you will be kissing and planning to have sex " she said pouting..

" oh my God that does it. You just ruined my lunch. See you after school " I said and carried my bag of chips and my drink.

" where are you going, I just bought lunch " she whined.

" you should have thought of that before you started spilling nonsense and just do you know I'm going to eat in a place where you don't exist " I said

" harsh... You are just to harsh and may I ask where that is?... " she asked..

" well P.E class ... Bye Alex " I said and carried my bag before making my way to the door and out of the lunch room... I hope I can still have my lunch in peace with the images she just created in my head....

After running around the field for close to thirty minutes in my short while the other girls wore pants, I'm finally exhausted.. Well they didn't exactly wear pants but I could see their pants through their attention seeking skirts...

I'm half glad that Alex isn't in this class. I make my way to the bleachers and take my seat, then I pull my water bottle out and drink the contents

" you do P.E too? " Adam suddenly appeared out of no where in front of me and I did the most stupid thing, I spit my water on his body in surprise..

" uhm... Why? " he asked staring at the water on his body. I didnt spit my water because I saw him its because the idiot wasn't wearing any shirt..

" I'm sorry you startled me " I said and watched at the water I spat on his chest trails down his hard muscled body to the V line of his shorts..

" wow you can't even form a sentence " he said and I frowned.

" I thought I told you to stay away from me this morning " I managed to say without tearing my gaze from his hazel eyes.

" well you did but just so you know I don't listen to anyone and you left your book on the table " he said holding out my literature novel ' a trip to Venice ' .. How the hell didn't I see that before when he came.

" thank you " I said and I collected it from him .. " please stay away from me " I added and I stood up from the bench. He blocked my path..

" what! " I said looking at him, he moved closer again and my breathe hitched in my chest. He was pressed against me and I was about to fall, his other hand was holding my waist maybe because he noticed that I will fall if he doesn't give us space. I could feel his abs on my stomach and his height is very intimidating. I could smell his minty breathe as his lips got closer to my face..

Does he want to kiss me?. What the fuck why?

But his lips move pass my cheeks and stay some meters away from my ear. Part of me was crushed that he didn't kiss me.. Elizabeth get a grip of yourself.. You hate this boy...

" you know I can't stay away from you and you can't stay away from me.... No matter how much you push me away, I will still come back because I know your secret..." He whispered and before I knew it he smirked at me and walked away, leaving me on the field with a frown on my face and a deep thought...

" where have you been and why is your expression weird? " Alex asked me as I finally made my way to the school parking lot and also to her car.. This is the first time I will ride in her car..

" I was in P.E class " I muttered and sat down in the passenger seat with he seat belt on.

" you look funny and flustered.. Did something happen? " she asked me again staring at her face....

" I'm fine. I just feel tired that's all .. Let's go " I said putting my head on the seat to rest..

" you don't look okay but if you say you are fine then okay.. " she said and I was grateful.. I closed my eyes and she pulled out of the drive way into the streets.. I didn't need to tell her where I live cause I told her in the morning...

As I closed my eyes, I didn't sleep, all I could think of was what Adam said and I couldn't help but wonder what secret of me that he knows....
