Her Best friend...

Aadrita took all her luggage and went to sit on the platform.

Before she could take her Phone to inform Aryan about her arrival, She was enveloped in a warm bear hug.

She didn't need to guess who it was. Only Aryan will hug her without any sculptures of the surroundings.

It was at this moment Arjun had turned around. Just as she was about to scold Aryan she felt an eye on her, she felt Arjun's eye...She looked at the exit...But he was gone

Aryan shook his hand in front of Aadrita to get her attention

"Hey, what are you looking around? I am right here in front of you"

She shook her head and replied "It's just...Nothing"

Even though it was for a moment this was the first time she focused on someone else despite Aryan's presence. But it went noticed by both of them.

"Where to?

"Obviously, Your home idiot...I can't go to my home now else I won't come back for your party...N I am tired and wanna refresh."

"That I know idiot, I was just asking in case u want to stay at a hotel?"

"Hotel? Why would I go there when I can get aunt;'s homemade awesome delicious food"

"No it's just for the party everyone is staying at the hotel and Anu is also there"

"So that's your point...If Anu stays at the hotel Let her be...I just wanna go home...It has been so long since I went back to see aunty"

"It's not like I am forcing you...I just wanted to confirm"

Like usual their bickering started...

"I know... I just cant wait to see aunty"

"She is not your aunty! She is my mom"

"Oh, so what? I bet she missed me and I missed her too"

"You just miss her food. n she just spoils you"

"Really! Say this in front of her"

"I don't wanna die"

"Ha..."

They were interrupted by a voice

"Aryan"

There she stood, Anu; Aryan's childhood friend, sweetheart, college mate...

"Hi, Anu! Have you been waiting long?" Aryan exclaimed

"There goes my idiotic lover boy" muttered Aadrita in a low voice

"No, I went to the nearby buy shop to buy some necessities...So, I didn't notice the time...Can we go back to the hotel now...I want to get ready..." Anu replied in her sweet voice.

"Anu, Actually I am taking Ritu home..she said she will stay at home only...Let her get refreshed there and we will go to the hotel where u can refresh and we will go to the hall together..ok?

Anu was Aryan's relative so it was not uncommon for her to go to Aryan's house...So Anu just nodded...

Seeing Anu nodding he said to Aadrita,

"Ritu I forgot to tell you that Anu came to pick you up with me :P I was in the hotel when you called earlier...Anu heard that you were coming so she offered to come and pick you up..look at how good she is..and look at u stingy..."

"Oh..I am stingy..?" Replied Aadrita...

With that, she pulled Aryan a little down a whispered "Should I show how stingy I am, by telling your sweetheart that u love her from childhood"

With that, she punched Aryan's right arm...

"Ouch..." Aryan grimaced in pain

Aadrita looked at Anu and greeted her cheerfully " Long time...As usual you are getting prettier Anu "

Anu smiled and replied" Like always u won't leave a chance to tease me Ritu"

With that both, the ladies hugged each other and ignored Aryan...

"Let's go, it's getting late.."

Aryan got into the driving seat, Ritu and Anu got into the back seat...

"Do you think I am a driver for you? why are getting into the back seat Ritu?

"Anu will alone idiot!"

"So, u let me be ur driver"

"Shut up idiot! You are just looking for a good beating...I will fulfill your wish by telling aunt..."

"No..no...I am sorry ok...can you just let me be"

"Why should I...By the way what got u stimulated today? You are more irritable than usual. Hmmm? Don't u think so too Anu?" Aadrita tried to bring Anu into their conversation

"I feel that too" Replied Anu

"Look Anu also feels so"

"Oh please, I am not irritated Ritu..."

Bittering they reached Aryans home...

Simple traditional home...Surrounded by greenery...

Archana came out hearing the SOund...Seeing that it was Ritu she came running to embrace Ritu and exclaimed "I missed u so much Chechi"

(Chechi-Sister in Malayalam; Archana: Aryan's sister)

"Oh! Only if you had shown same enthusiasm toward me I would have brought u chocolates" Aryan uttered

"Who wants ur chocolate..just go to hell" Archana started bickering with Aryan...

Interrupting the siblings Aadrita asked, "Where is aunty?"

"Your aunty will be in the kitchen...if she had known ur arrival she would have waited here before u reached"

"Ok enough! I will go and freshen up... I will come back in 10 mins...we can go back together" Aadrita said to Anu who was still in the car...

Then only Anu opened the car and came out...

"Hi, Anu you also came?" Archana exclaimed

"Ya I went to pick Ritu with Aryan..."

With that, they invited Anu inside and got her some refreshments...

Though Anu was their relative and had visited Aryan's house...Aadrita was more familiar and had regularly visited Aryan's home...

Aadrita got refreshed from archanas room...There was no need to guide her since staying here was usual for her.

Aadrita went to the kitchen to surprise her aunt..she blindfolded Aryans mom with her hand

"Ritu, you came...I was not expecting u...u could have informed na? I would have made something special for you"

Aadrita removed her hands from aunt's eye and kept the gas stove in low flame, hugging aunt she took her to the living room where the sibling was quarreling "Aunty I won't eat here... I came to go to this idiot's party..its today na...so don't fret over food...I will come for that next time"

"Ok...Just tell me when u come...I will make all your favs..."

With that, she turned to her children"Look at these monkeys still quarreling after growing up"

"Now you got Ritu we know that you won't want us"

"True...but still wish u had shown some courtesy to the guest; Hi Anu, long time... how are you?"

"I am fine Aunt... How are you?"

After exchanging pleasantries, Aryan, Aadrita, and Anu said their goodbyes to Archana, Aunt, and headed to the hotel.
