Linda's POV
The sound of feet hurrying up the stairs breaks the conversation I'm having with my friends.
We've long cleared up the waste from what we ate. The only evidence of the fact that we ate is the smell of food in the air.
A hurried knock sounds at the door and I wonder what might have happened. That sounded too frantic.
" The door is open. " I tell whoever it is as I stand up from the floor.
The door is pushed open and one of the guards in the estate is standing there with a panicked look. " Don Alonso wants to see you. "
I guess he finally heard that I'm still alive. Although I didn't hear him drive into the estate. Does this mean he's been around all this while? Perhaps he's angry that I'm still alive.
" Where is he? " I ask the guard in front of me.
" Downstairs in the living room," he replies.
" Fine, I'll be down in a minute. "
