The light at the end of the Tunnel (9)

The house was dead quite. if someone had newly entered and were not aware of the situation, they would have guessed someone had passed away. The atmosphere was thick with gloom. It did not have the hustle and bustle a normal house with people living in it would have.

Sofia had been unconscious for 5 hours now. The first 2 hours had been ok, Dr Chris had examined her " There is no need to worry. Everything is fine, she should wake up in a few hours.... She has only fainted because of shock".

But the minute it had passed the 2 hour mark, Vincent went into crazy frantic mood.

"Why is she not waking up?" looking at his friend of many years "You said she was fine and only in shock. So why is she not waking up?"

Not knowing what to say, Dr Chris could only stay quiet and re-examine Sofia to make sure if he had missed anything the first round. Not finding anything different, he could only wait for Sofia to wake up on her own before he could conduct any more tests.

"There is nothing that I can do. She will have to wake up on her own. Right now all that we CAN do is wait. Patiently."

Every passing second, Vincent's aura turned chillier. At one point in time it got to the extent where nobody could muster their courage to look him in the face.

...

Johnathan had seen sitting by her side quietly. Only looking at her and no one else. The whole time he spent next to her, he could not process any sounds from his surroundings. It was like his mind stopped working and could only take in things within his immediate view.

Jasmine was becoming increasingly worried at Johnathan's current state of mind. The happy go lucky, always smiling young boy was developing a stone hard expression mirroring his father. The aura around him becoming colder with every passing minute. He was becoming a different person and not in the good sense of different.

The people in the room were feeling hopeless. Even with all of the money available, Vincent was not able to do anything to help. She was still unconscious.

Sofia's eyeballs started to move left and right under her closed eyelids slightly. A slight movement that would have gone unnoticed if not for Johnathan's constant watchful eye on her.

A few minutes into the 5 hour mark, Sofia had began to regain her consciousness.
