Her Shield

Li Jun heard the deep and dark voice of his uncle and was surprised that his uncle was standing up for Shen Yi. Didn't they hate each other?

Li Jun smiled and said "My aunt here thinks that I killed Lin Yan which isn't true. Even you must know how much I loved my wife, right?"

Li Lingyun looked at Fang Min who felt no shame and said "Of course, the proof of how much you love your wife is standing in front of me."

"Fang Min and I have been dating long before I got married to Lin Yan. I met her again a year ago and I found out I had a five years old daughter with her."

"And you decided to once again start your relationship by cheating on your wife you claim to love. Did Lin Yan ever did anything to deserve your betrayal." Lin Yan asked as she tried her best not to burst in anger.

Li Lingyun glance at Shen Yi briefly and wondered why she was getting affected by the situation. Personally he did not care, he just finds Lin Yan life to be pitiful but why does Shen Yi who has never even spoken much to Lin Yan care about whether Li Jun cheated on her or not.

Li Jun and Fang Min darkened at her words. Everyone could sense the mocking in those words. Li Jun looked at Shen Yi and thought of how he has made a mistake. No, Li Lingyun can never find out that I am not Shen Yi, if not I will never be able to make both Li Jun and Fang Min pay for what they have done to me. This were the thought of Lin Yan, from wanting to live peacefully with her new identity to her thought being filled with revenge. Before there was a little hope that the conversation she heard at Li Lingyun office was not true, she believed that even though Li Jun cheated on her, he still loved her but now she could see that it was her who didn't want to let go, even when she wanted to pretend as if she was blind, the world refused for her to be blind. Yes, perhaps the reason she was given another chance was not to live peacefully but to have revenge. Revenge against those who had hurt her, against those who has always mocked her, against those who betrayed her and at that moment she knew that the only way to get this revenge is to use the man in front of her.
