"How could you kill them?" Nathaniel inquired.

The curse destroyed the city and killed thousands of innocents who weren't involved in their affairs. The demon was coming to terms with the fact that Omar cursed the city to begin with.

For months, he had played out every scenario that could have compelled the male to go to such lengths, yet nothing came to mind. No reason strong enough to justify the choice and decision that Omar made.
