Days passed by like seconds.
In just a blink of an eye, their long-awaited rest day, Sunday, came.
At exactly 8 o'clock in the morning, Chess was all ready to depart. He wore his usual casual clothes, still with a cap on, and exited his room with a hidden grin.
He can finally go back and take a look at the orphan. It's been a month ever since he started staying in the university dorms. Chess wondered if the Chairman really did what he said he would. He still remembered how the Chairman told him that he'll donate to the church from time to time.
"Oh! Chess!"
From a distance, Chess heard the voice of a familiar person calling out his name.
Chess, in return, halted his steps as he turned to look around to the person who called him. It was Hans.
"You're out?" Hans asked the moment he approached him.
Since his stay here in the dorms, never once did he saw Chess outside the class. That's why, seeing Chess outside right now is unusual for him.
