We Are So Compatible!

[The system might be all powerful within the blue planet, but within the universe, it definitely is not the most powerful existence. But still, the system can be upgraded and become the most powerful existence within the universe.] Angel, the system guide immediately responded in the usual emotionless voice.

Despite the voice being emotionless, Jack could not help but feel a little emotional. After all, it had been more than 18 years ever since he had communicated with Angel.

That's right, Angel and the system were two different entities. The prompts that Jack was receiving before were all from the system. But now, this one came from Angel. And accompanying the prompt was the voice that belonged to Angel.

'It has been a while, hasn't it? You know, after hearing your voice, I cannot help but reminisce about Blue planet. I hope I'll be going back there soon.' Jack stated in his mind.

[It has only been 18 years. That is a very short period of time.] Angel responded.

Jack: 🥲

Jack did not know the origin of the system, but perhaps, maybe 13 years was just 18 days to the system. After all, from what he had heard from Henry, he could tell that there were other worlds where everything was fantasy.

In those words, it was not impossible for people to be able to live for several hundred years. So, to them, 18 years was definitely not a very long time.

Well, it might not be long for them, but to him, it was extremely a very long period of time. And to say the least, he missed the people that he cared about the most.

And had it not been that there was somebody who was in the same predicament as himself, Jack would have almost lost his mind, loitering all over the world, trying to look for any clues related to the mission.

Jack understood one thing. Even if he was strong, he was definitely not strong enough to be able to go back to his own world from here. The only way to go back there was by completing the mission. So, he would definitely put even more effort in trying to complete the mission.

After the system mentioned something about 18 years, Jack finally remembered something. With excitement in his eyes, he asked, 'Angel, what about those rewards. You know, the monthly, yearly, and so on?'

[The host has to understand that the system was offline during the past 18 years. And due to that, the system began counting the days that it had been online from today. So, the host will have to wait for 1 month, before the monthly reward is given to him.]

Jack was immediately disappointed after hearing that. He had thought that perhaps, he would receive those rewards, and suddenly blast into the sky, which was the top of the richest people in this world.

But now, it seemed impossible. He was also quite curious about the rewards that would come after 5 years, 10 years and so on. Even in his previous world, he had only been with the system for about one year.

But even then, he was considered as the top most existence within that world. And he was previously leading his people to go and deal with the aliens, before he was swallowed by the black hole.

Shaking his head, Jack decided not to think much about it. After all, the more that he thought about it, the more anxious he got. It was a good thing that he was promised that he would be taken back to his world, at the very same time that he had disappeared.

Otherwise, he would definitely be extremely anxious. While he was young here, the same could not be said about in his world. Additionally, if he stayed here for several decades, wouldn't he go back and find that his girlfriend was already so old?

Additionally, he might even find that they had already gone, and another generation had already risen. And to make matters for us, they might have been destroyed by the aliens, and he might just find that the entire blue planet was dominated by aliens, and not a single human could be seen.

After interacting with the system for a while, making sure that he remembered everything about the system, Jack finally looked at Henry. It was at this point that he realized that this guy was currently just a few inches away from him.

Jack immediately backed away with a serious expression on his face. Then he asked, "What were you doing?"

Henry looked at Jack's reaction and laughed. Then he said, "You know, I have been observing you from such a close distance for quite a while now. But it is only now that you are realizing? I wonder what it is that you had been thinking about, or could it be that you had simply been ignoring my presence all this while?"

Jack was immediately dumbfounded. This guy had actually been at such a close proximity all this while? Why was it that he had not detected that? But thinking much about it, due to the excitement that he was having due to the return of the system, he had not been paying much attention to his surroundings.

Added to the fact that they were currently inside the Smiths residence, he had dropped his guard, not believing that there was going to be anybody that was going to attack him.

"Whatever." Jack waved his hand, not intending to talk about what he was thinking about before. He went ahead and stood by the window, looking outside.

This was his room. And through the window, he could see the garden that was just behind his room. The garden was well tended to, with several trees that provided a shade for those that were relaxing there.

The beautiful flowers gave a very attractive scent, something that made it comfortable for people to stay within the garden. And not far away from the garden, there was another building. It was within that building that most of the physical entertainment activities such as pool and so on were located.

Linking the garden and the building, together with the main manor building, there was a wide pavement, about 3 m wide. This pavement was linking several areas within the Smith residence.

The manor was a two-storey building, containing a basement. It could be said that even though it was not that tall, still, it occupied quite a huge area.

Jack's room was located on the first and top most floor of the manor. It could be said that all the rooms of the entire manor were located on this floor. The ground floor was where the majority of the actions took place. The facilities found there included the dining hall, a conference room and so on.

As for the basement, it could be said that this was where the warehouse of the family was located. The storage, the underground parking and so on.

Just as Jack was watching the group of people in the garden, Henry approached him from behind. Then, his stood next to Jack, and looked outside. But after a few seconds, he immediately lost interest in observing other people in the garden.

Instead, he shifted his gaze and looked at Jack. Then, he asked curiously, "Do you mind revealing what advantage your system gives you in this world?"

Jack was slightly surprised by the question. Still, he was able to react. He shifted his gaze from the garden and looked back at Henry.

After a moment of silence, Jack spread his hands helplessly and said, "Well, it can be said that this system of mine is kind of funny. After all, it just gives me the advantage of money."

"Huh? Are you serious?" Henry looked at Jack with a dumbfounded expression on his face. He was not sure if Jack was just joking around or he was serious.

"Of course I'm serious about it. If you want me to prove it, I will do that. But of course, not now, considering that there is no opportunity for that in here." Jack responded, as he looked around his room.

Looking at Jack's serious expression, Henry immediately realized that Jack was actually serious about what he had said. His system gave him an advantage when it came to money?

Henry could not help but smile widely. If he could remember clearly, his system had already given him a solution to the items that he was going to receive in this world. Then, that implied that if Jack had an advantage when it came to money, it implied that the money would definitely come from a reliable source, and would not be investigated.

Thinking of that, the smile on his face widened further, confusing Jack who had just shifted back his gaze to look at Henry, only to find that the guy was smiling like an idiot.

"What is funny?" Jack asked with a confused expression.

"I think the two of us are really compatible. It is no wonder we were assigned the same mission. With the two of us working together, it should be a piece of cake first to be able to dominate this world." Henry responded, the wide smile on his face broadening even further.

Jack could not help but flinch a little. This guy was smiling so widely. Was he not afraid that his lips mouth would be torn apart by the smile?

"I really don't understand what you are trying to imply." Jack expressed his confusion.

"You have money, I have a store! Just give me the money, and we can have everything that we want!" Henry responded with a serious expression on his face, despite the smile on his face not diminishing at all.

Jack: 😒
