Party Continued

"Yeah and you didn't want to bet right, you were confident in yourself too," Reina spat those words at her friend, well ex friend.

"Why shouldn't I be? It's a matter of time. She can't have him." She had a smuggled look on her face as she spoke.

"You are simply terrible. Baka!!'

"Whatever, gonna have fun, ciao," Mari daid and walked away from them.

"Whatever, gonna have fun, ciao!" Ayumi mimicked her after she left and they burst out laughing.

Mari turned her head to face the noisy bunch, "Hmm, whatever, rubbish bunch," she hissed and made her way somewhere else.

"Attention everybody!" Mr Ishida called out as he held a glass of juice in his hands.

He made his way to the front of the dinning table to address everyone. "Thank you for honoring this invitation and I hope everyone is enjoying themselves?"

"Yes!" everyone shouted.

"That's better. I have an announcement to make, well more like a question but whichever way it goes," everyone laughed at his funny disposition.

"Alright, enough dilly dallying. Now, I would love to adopt Sasuke," his gaze trailed everyone present, making sure the information sank in before continuing. "What say you?" He directed his gaze to Sasuke and Sakiko.

"Umm, if its okay by Sakiko, I do not think that it is necessary," everyone had a look of disappointment on their faces except Fr. Tanaka and Mari.

Fr. Tanaka's face was normal except for the hint of a small smile on his face. Mari on the other hand had a angry look on her face.

"Damn it Sasuke, accept it already, what's your issue. At least when you do, no matter how you and Sakiko cling together, you won't have her, then I can swoop in to have you." Mari thought, while feeling more angry as she took in the others' expression of disappointment.

"We would like to say something that happened some days back," the two of them spoke at once, then Sakiko smiled at their uniformity and gestured for Sasuke to carry on.

"Can you guys just answer Mr Ishida and let's get this over with. Let the snatching begin, finally I can have Sasuke to myself. Am I a genius of what? All that is left is to do something that would provoke her on Tuesday," She thought to herself.

Damn was this girl evil in her own little head. Sasuke better beware!

"Everyone, please let us move to the other parlor and sit down, food is served!" Mrs Ishida called out as she walked out of the kitchen.

"Really now! Urrrgh, well I would find out soon enough about their decision. It's not like they can hide it anyway." Mari was already devising means to annoy Sakiko.

With the announcement from Mrs Ishida, everyone made their way to the second parlour to eat.

After the meal and light dancing, everyone took their leave. Sasuke, Fr. Tanaka and Sakiko made their way to the door.

"Please Father, can Sasuke stay the remaining break with me here, please?" She asked with a puppy face.

"I'm sorry Sakiko, I would have loved to stay but my clothes aren't here and I have a birthday party to attend tomorrow," Sasuke quickly replied before Fr. Tanaka could agree.

"Don't worry Sakiko, he would spend this weekend with you okay!"

"Yes Father. Thank you for everything. Sasuke, please can I have a moment of your time please? Father sorry, I won't be long."

"Very well, I'll wait in the car," he smiled at them and made his way out of the house where her parents stood.

"Thanks Father, I would be right there in a few minutes," Sasuke waved at the leaving figure of Fr. Tanaka. "Yes Sakiko, what is the matter love?"

"Sasuke this whole thing, what was the meaning of kiss earlier on? Why did you do it?"

"Isn't it obvious! I love you, that's why or the meaning," he said without a care in the world.

"Love! Are you mad! I am your sister, Sasuke" Sakiko mouth–yelled at him so no one could hear their conversation.

"Yes I am really mad, madly in love with you," as he said that, he poked her nose and she flushed instantly.

He started laughing and when she noticed he enjoyed seeing her embarrassed, but she reacted.

"Shut up Sasuke!"

She turned to make sure no one was looking their way, "Are you psych!"

"Don't use that word on me, use a more fantastic word or a romantic one."

At this point Sakiko felt at a loss and face palmed herself.

"What was going on? Why didn't I feel disgusted with what he did? Why does my heart flutter with his words? What's going on with me?"

She had a lot of questions rush into her mind but acted normal. The last thing she wanted, was he getting worried.
