Twinning With The Bad Boy

Love and life are the two most unexpected events. We don't know, who we fall for and when we do, just like the way we don't know when our life decides to flip the table. After being bullied and avoided for the maximum part of her childhood, Samaira finally decides to change. As the days passed and the 'School-re-open-day' arrives, Samaira is ready with her new look and new personality, which screams 'CONFIDENCE'. She's now ready to take Stanford Day by a whirlwind. With her previous 'Damsel-In-Distress' personality gone, something new and interesting is bound to happen. But what will happen when the 'Bad Boy' of her class, or we can also say the boy she despises from the start of her school life, sets his eyes on her? Will things worsen, or will it be for good? And the biggest question is - Will Samaira finally experience Love? Or will everything go down in flames?

Chapter 2

"Can't you see? Oh, I'm extremely sorry, your vision must be blurry since you're not wearing your thick glasses!" He mocked

Meet Rajveer Dasgupta, the bad boy of our school and in my words The Devil. The first thing you should know about him is that he hates me, as long as I remember. Although he never physically bullied me, I think emotional distress is way more painful than a physical one. He is the confident jerk of the class who's fortunately got an amazing voice and a good brain. The best thing? He sucks in Literature because you need a heart to love literature and he didn't have it. And yes, even I have to agree that he did have a great sense of humour, though he never showed me that side. And if you think he is some kind of unrealistically handsome, cliché, 17 years old with six-pack abs and muscles, you are terribly mistaken. Yeah, he is quite good looking with black hairs and dark chocolate brown eyes, pointed nose and sharp jaw. He has lean muscles but nothing like what you usually read.

"Actually, I can see perfectly fine. And just because I got rid of my glasses doesn't mean I turned into a blind. I do have my contacts but I don't understand how that concerns you!" I replied.

"Wow! The shy nerd turned into a sassy bombshell! But I'm disappointed. I thought you'd be dead by now" I cringed in disgust at his choice of words. 'Sassy bombshell' seriously!

"Well, you're unlucky since I'm still alive and newsflash, The shy nerd isn't shy anymore. Get ready Rajveer Dasgupta, to experience hell" I said sternly while looking directly in his eyes.

He didn't break the staring contest and neither did I. With amusement and mischief clear in his eyes, he leaned in until his face was just inches away from my ear as he whispered, "Hell is where I live, nerd"

And with that, he stepped back and left as I stood there, a little bit shocked..gosh! Who am I kidding I was dumbfounded!

"Hey, you alright?" I snapped out of my daze only to find The Devil's twin standing right in front of me, with warm eyes and a polite smile on his face.

Meet Ranveer Dasgupta. The complete opposite of his brother. He is sweet, kind, generous, friendly and the best thing? He is good at Literature.

"Yeah, I'm alright. Thanks for asking." I said and left him.

'Ain't your lucky day girl! You grabbed the attention of the Dasgupta brothers!" My mind said

Now, meet my mind. She loves to speak with me but trusting her is dangerous, trust me.

'Yeah, very lucky' I thought sarcastically and joined the line of my class.

The assembly was over soon and we went back to our class. There was the usual hustle-bustle with gossips going around. You'll be amazed to hear this, right now the most trending gossip in the school is 'The Anti-Social Shy Nerd Went Viral'. Yeah 'viral', gosh what happened to there vocabulary!

Soon the bell rang, signalling the start of our first class, which unfortunately is Mathematics. Urgh! I hate maths! I don't have any problem with calculations but why the heck did they drag in alphabets. Moreover, they want us to consider too much! Like what if I don't want to consider any equation as 'a, b, c, d, x, y, z' whatever! And the most irritating thing is that this algebra and geometry shit come in no handy. They are so meaningless in life. At least I find them meaningless. (Q/n: No offence to those who loves mathematics)

I didn't even want to choose maths but I had too because it was either maths or P.E and I would rather die than attend P.E class. So here am I, sitting and rotting in this horrible class.

Anyway, as we opened our textbooks and notebooks the teacher entered, looking like she'd be anywhere but this class. You see, we do have quite the reputation.

We all stood up to wish the teacher but someone certainly didn't.

"Saheli, do you want to stand up or do you care too much about your feet to even give them the pain to stand." Mrs Sharma, our maths teacher said.

"Yes mam, I am trying to but, I don't know," she said

Dude, even I have better excuses than that. I rolled my eyes. Uh oh someone surely didn't have a great morning as our teacher was throwing daggers at her through her eyes.

"Saheli Roy, stand up right now and get out of my class."

"What! Mam, no!" As soon as she said that, she stood up with full force and there was a sound of something tearing up.

Fortunately, it was just the sound of her skirt getting detached from the bench and not her skirt getting torn apart.

Her face was red with anger and embarrassment, "Who did this? WHO THE FUCK DARED TO PUT GLUE ON MY BENCH!"

"Saheli! Principal's office, now!" Mrs Sharma said, clearly annoyed by the fact that she cursed in front of her.

"But mam—" her words were cut off by our teacher

"Now!"

With her head hung low, she collected her stuff, took her bag and went to the principal's office.

But, who put that glue? That too on the Queen B's bench. Weird.

After the class was over my mind was completely exhausted. Two more years of this torture and I'll be free.

As I collected my stuff, getting ready for my next class, I felt a presence behind me. I turned around to see The Great Devil standing right behind me.

My breath hitched at how close we were standing, not because I like him or something.

"You got lucky this time, nerd!" He said with a devilish smirk and a dangerous glint in his eyes.

And that is when reality hit me hard, that glue was meant for me.

The game is so on Devil.
