In the reception, Carey just told Ashley what happened in the BM office
"congratulations Carey on being our new branch manager" she said
" Thank you we should celebrate tonight " Carey retorted
" Umm okay " retorted Ashley in hesitation
"I will pick you at fifth avenue at exactly 9 pm sharp, be there, bye" she said as she walked out of the reception. Someone stopped her and said
"Umm Carey wait I have to tell you something"
" What do you want to tell me boss" she said as she went towards where Alexa was standing
" I will be coming to the office tomorrow to announce that you are the new BM of this branch, and also i will be coming everyday for a week to check if everyone is doing their job properly or not, so I will be using the office for a while" She said tiredly as she walked out

Jane and William got into another fight
" William were have you been all day" she shouted as she followed him into the kitchen
" None of business so just LEAVE ME ALONE!" he shouted as he went to get some water
" William have you been gambling again " she said but he ignored her
"William, answer me!, have you been gambling again" She said this time raising her voice higher
" Yes I am but what's your business with that uh!" he said as he went to the living room
" William, don't walk away while I'm talking to you " She said as she followed him into the living room
William having enough of her nagging came close to her as he was getting closer she was moving back until she reached the wall he held her neck taking every inch of life out of her
" William, please let me go" she said with every ounce of strength she had left
"Dad!" someone screamed and immediately he let her go
It was Ashley who just got back from work just to meet this in front of her
" Mom" she said as she ran to her
" Mom, mom are you alright " she said as she helped her to stand, she stared at the man who did this as he left the house
Ashley took her mom to her room and asked
" Mom what happened? "
" It's nothing dear" Jane retorted
" Mom are you sure? shouldn't we call the police " Ashley said as she helped her mom sot up on the bed
" Its nothing, your dad was just angry, that's all* she lied because she didn't want Ashley to feel sad or sorry

" "Ashley where are you I'm already here waiting for you" Carey said
Jane didn't know that Ashley was going out but from what she heard she knew
" She's getting ready she will join you soon " She said and she cut the call immediately Ashley entered
" Why aren't you dressed yet, your friend is waiting for you " Jane said
" oh, Carey I forgot, are you sire I can go what if dad comes back " she retorted
" I told you, dad was just angry I can take care of myself just go" Jane said

At Fifth avenue a figure stepped out of the taxi
" Ashley, there you are" Carey said as she ran towards her
" Okay let's go" she said as she dragged Ashley in the car

They stopped at one of the most famous club in New York
" Carey what are we doing here?" Ashley asked as they stepped out of the car
" To celebrate silly" Carey retorted as she dragged her into the club
Meanwhile inside the club two figures are having a drink
" Bro what are we doing here? " Ashton asked
"To calm my nerves " Alex retorted as he signaled for a waiter
"What did you and Alexa fight about now?"
" Ashley I need to use the restroom " Carey said as she excused herself
A few minutes passed and Carey hasn't come back Ashley decided to go and look for her
Ashley went to the restroom where Carey said she was going, as she was about to enter "Ahh this place stinks, where my facemask" she went through her purse saw the mask and wore it

" Umm I'm here with my friend but I couldn't find her " she said staring at the beautiful figure In front of her
" Maybe you will find her outside, let me help you" he said
" Weren't you on your way somewhere " "it can wait" before Ashley could say anything else he dragged her outside

"ummmm.... there she is" she said as she ran towards Carey who was kissing a guy
