76 76:- BACK TO BACK

Ichiro listened to Bladwin's message and felt a mix of emotions — relief that Bladwin was okay, but worry for the fate of White Yuri. Determined to respond, Ichiro grabbed his own tablet to record a message.

"Hey, Bladwin! Good to hear you're alright. I'm still kicking, but things got messy up here. Gjallahorn ambushed us, and I lost contact with the others. I'm on my own now, but I'll manage. Keep me posted on your end. Stay safe, buddy."

Ichiro tried to send the message, but frustration set in as the signal dropped. "Come on, you stubborn piece of tech," he muttered.

Ichiro shook his head in frustration, muttering to himself, "Stupid signal." He took a deep breath, trying to stay calm despite the challenges. "Alright, maybe I'll catch a break later." Ichiro decided to focus on his surroundings and survival for the time being.

Ichiro, feeling frustrated, started working on his tablet to gather information about SS 7. As he discovered relevant data, he muttered, "Thank God it has some information on every planet of SS, or I would be fucked up."

Ichiro scrutinized the information on the tablet, plotting his course towards the detected town. "Well, at least there's some sign of life," he muttered to himself.

"So this town is to the north of my location, that's nice, no need to move much just walk straight," Ichiro muttered. He had his doubts about whether he could reach it with the supplies he had. Glancing at the debris of the mobile suit, he spoke to himself, "I'll sure beat the shit out of those Gjallahorn next time I meet them." Ichiro vowed as he looked towards the direction he was going. "Let's go, we shall see what happens."

Ichiro adjusted his cloak and began walking, his figure cutting through the desolate landscape.

.

After trudging through the barren white fields for what felt like an eternity, Ichiro's weary eyes caught sight of a dense forest ahead. The trees, with their dark, almost black hue, stood in stark contrast to the surrounding landscape. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the scene, Ichiro couldn't help but admire the beauty of this unexpected oasis amidst the desolation of the planet.

With a mixture of relief and exhaustion, Ichiro let out a cry of exasperated joy at the sight of the forest. "Finally! Thank God," he exclaimed, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders. The endless expanse of white had begun to wear on him.

.

As the sun dipped lower on the horizon, casting long shadows across the alien landscape, Ichiro searched for a suitable spot to make camp. After what felt like an eternity of wandering, he stumbled upon a clearing nestled amidst tall trees. The trees seemed to stand in a protective circle, their branches intertwining overhead like guardians watching over the space below.

Ichiro gathered twigs and kindling from the forest floor, his movements fluid and practiced. With a flick of his wrist, he ignited the small pile, the flames dancing eagerly as they consumed the dry wood. As the fire crackled and popped, casting flickering shadows on the trees around him, Ichiro's gaze shifted to the nearby branches.

Without a second thought, he reached out and plucked a handful of the black leaves, their color stark against the darkness of the night. With a smooth motion, he tossed them into the flames, watching as they curled and blackened, adding an eerie hue to the fire's glow.

Ichiro ascended the sturdy branches of the tree, his movements agile and sure. Finding a comfortable spot nestled among the leaves, he settled himself against the trunk, feeling the rough bark against his back.

The sounds of the forest enveloped him, the rustle of leaves in the gentle breeze and the occasional chirp of nocturnal creatures providing a soothing backdrop to his thoughts. With a sense of weary contentment, Ichiro closed his eyes, allowing himself to drift into a fitful sleep high above the forest floor.

.

The sudden chilling wind sliced through the tranquil night. Ichiro's senses snapped to attention as the chilling wind swept through the forest, causing the leaves to shiver and dance. In the darkness, his instincts sharpened, honed by years of survival in harsh environments. His eyes snapped open, glinting with a primal alertness as he scanned the shadows for any sign of danger.

A sudden twitch nearby caught his attention, prompting him to tense, every muscle poised for action. As the footsteps drew nearer, the distinct rhythm of four legs echoed through the forest, signaling the approach of a creature unknown.

Ichiro remained still, his breath held in anticipation, ready to react at a moment's notice.

Ichiro's grip tightened around his gun as he cautiously peered at the creature from his vantage point. Its back was turned towards him, revealing dark blue fur reminiscent of a bear. Ichiro's mind raced with questions, wondering what kind of creature it was and whether it posed a threat.

Ichiro's heart pounded in his chest as he watched the creature investigate the burnt remnants of the fire. With each stomp, the ground shook beneath its weight. Suddenly, a branch fell from the tree where Ichiro hid, causing him to tense up and hold his breath, his grip on the gun tightening even further.

Ichiro's heart raced as the creature turned its gaze toward the tree where he was hiding. He held his breath, hoping against hope that the creature wouldn't notice him.

Ichiro's horror deepened as he caught sight of the creature's face, a grotesque fusion of human and bear. It seemed as though someone had attempted to sew the skin of a human onto the body of a bear. The sight sent shivers down Ichiro's spine, and he remained frozen in fear as the creature turned away and disappeared into the darkness of the forest.

Ichiro screamed internally. "Where the hell, have I Landed!"
