Zoe hugged her backpack. There were only a few pair of clothes that she owned, because she didn't have the luxury to buy a lot of them, or else, she would go hungry for days.
She stared at the capital city from the car window and felt a little bit lonely, somehow, this city was very crowded, there were a lot of people here more than the people in her former pack, but it was so lonely here.
All of them didn't know each other and they always looked busy, too busy to have a conversation. People would look at you weirdly if you started a conversation with them.
Or, they would look tired, too tired to even help each other.
How funny this city was. She missed the quietness in her pack and how people interacted with each other. Shifter was a social creature, thus it was rather hard for Zoe to live alone in her small flat and talked to herself all the time.
