Looking For a New Place #028

(A/n: Sorry about the delay, guys. I have been busy doing some really important that will benefit my future, so I have to do this foremost. I'm done for now. I'm just waitinf results, but those won't come in for a while, so I will keep it daily now, thanks for reading!)

Gabriel took out his card and swiped it on the door before speaking, "Angel, open up doors, pretty please." he said, smirking.

The creaking sound of doors opening was heard as everyone rushed outside.

They didn't even look back and just rushed out from the building since it was going to explode. Carol stayed back, letting everybody leave first since someone had pushed her daughter. Rick pulled his wife and kid ahead of everyone else.

Gabriel, however, went back inside. He wanted to get some things Angel had told him were inside.

Inside, he looked around and saw Carol and Sophia at last. Carol got excited seeing him and couldn't fight off her smile as she threw herself at him in relief.

"I thought you abandoned us!" she said.

Sophia also hugged his torso, Gabriel felt some wet tears on him and sighed. He didn't have much time for this, but he also didn't want to push them away, so he invited them.

"Sorry, Carol, but I'm in a hurry. Have you seen Jenner? also, can you help me with something?" he asked.

At first, he had told his girls to stay back while he opened the doors and got something from inside. The girls didn't know about the countdown. After all, it had slipped his mind to tell them.

Carol took a step back and nodded firmly. He pat Sophia's head and put her on Nyx.

"Would you be a dear and take her to Andrea?" he told his wolf, she didn't want to leave his side so she had followed him into the building, Nyx had become attached to the human and didn't want to let go of him, but when he asked her to do something that makes her go apart from her new alpha, she couldn't help but agreed.

"Don't worry, she is in good hands." said Gabriel, grabbing Carol's chin and making her look at him. "You with me?" he asked, smiling. Carol got lost in his smile for a second before she nodded.

Gabriel grabbed Carol in a princess carry. "Where is he?" he asked.

Carol pointed to a door, and they entered, Jenner was there getting himself ready to leave. He had seen Gabriel on the camera and found a new purpose, so he would follow them to experiment on Gabriel when he gets the chance.

Gabriel pulled out a gun and killed Jenner, making Carol scream in horror as blood spluttered around. "Sorry about thay, Carol, but he wasn't a really good guy. Ange- Vi had told me about his experiments and how he had tested the blood of everyone here to see who he can practice his knowledge on next. I could have kept him, but I have a family to take care of now. I'm pretty sure Andrea is pregnant. Besides, I know you know Lori and Miranda might also be pregnant with mine." he said as he wiped the blood off his face.

He looked up. "Guide me there, Angel." he said.

[Take a right] said the Ai. Gabriel had put Carol down but was bow offering his hand. Carol grabbed without a second hesitation.

"It's okay, Gabriel. Whatever we have to do to protect our dear ones, right?" she asked, hoping for his praise.

Gabriel nodded and simply followed the directions. After a couple of minutes.

[Warning, Time Remaining 15 Minutes Till Complete ShutDown]

He knew they still had plenty of time. He swiped his card, and a metal door opened. He grinned. "Hello, there." he said as all the ammunition and food that was inside.

"My god, there is so much in here to feed us for weeks!" said Carol, amazed.

Gabriel nodded in agreement. "Take the canned food, I'll look for something to take with us." he said as he started looking around for a cart or something but could only find three military duffle bags.

He grabbed them, and both started bagging food inside, Gabriel took one of the bags to fill with as much ammunition as he could, filling up the bag only halfway full before adding more food to fill up the bag.

[5 Minutes Remaining]

Carol started shaking in fear as she frankingly started bagging the food, there were powder milk for babies too, such a coincidence, but these facilities were equipped to last some time before going out. While there was food in there, it wasn't full. the shelves seemed to have been ramsacked already, probably by the remaining military agents that were taking care of this.

Once the bags were full, he carried all three of them, while Carol carried a backpack she found on the side.

"Let's go, Carol, we can't take it all." he said, looking at the few shelves that still had some food on them.

Carol nodded. They bot left the room, and as they were making their way out, Angel sent him a message.

[3 Minutes Remaining]

[There is some medicine on your left]

Gabriel told Carol to go, and the woman left reluctantly. Gabriel opened the closed door and saw bottles of medicine.

"Wanna tell me which bottles are the ones with the longest expiration date?"

[No need, all of them will last for five more years]

Gabriel nodded and started bagging a lot of painkillers, antibiotics, and gauzes. He took as much as he could.

[One Minute and a Half Remaining]

Gabriel left the room running out, though he couldn't run fast due to the weight of three duffle bags on him. Still once outside, Nyx, Andrea, Amy, and even Alicia were waiting for me outside.

I widened my eyes. "What are you doing here? Let's go!" he said in a raised voice.

The girls gave him firm looks and helped him with his bags, Gabriel sighed and let them help, and together, they made it to the RV where Madison was waiting on the drivers seat.

They all entered and left the place along with everyone. Soon, they saw the doors sealing themselves, and then an explosion occurred.

It seemed that Jenner had initiated the explosion sequence again. Despite Gabriel canceling it out with his card.

"I thought you said I canceled the explosion out because you needed my card?" said Gabriel, confused.

[Yes, but activating it didn't require any special card]

She answered, making Gabriel roll his eyes. He placed the bags somewhere they were not on the way.

"You saw where Carol went?" He asked Andrea.

She nodded. "She got in a vehicle with Lori and Rick."

He nodded. "Well then, let's follow them and see where the heck he takes us. Otherwise, we might want to find a place for you, baby." he said, rubbing Andrea's stomach and kissing her with much love, Andrea reciprocated his kiss with much need.
