An Old Flame

Turning to his bodyguards, he can sense that all of them are decently powerful witches, "Stay here, if you hurt the woman living in that house, I'll personally rip out your spines"

Ignoring their reactions, he walks to the house before knocking on the door. an older woman with curly brown hair answers the door with a happy smile, "I sensed your magic coming this way"

He gives a small smile as he hugs her, "That's the first thing you say in thirty years"

She looks at him, inches from his face, "You haven't aged a day since we last spoke, what brings you back here?"

"I'm going to be staying in Mystic Falls for a while under an alias, your the only one in this town that knows me so I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone who or what I am"

"If that's what you want then I'll do as you wish, what is your alias?"

"Elias Stone", he shakes his head and takes a step back, "if you ever need me, just whisper to the spirits and they shall tell me"

She nods as he turns and walks back to his vehicle, "I have a granddaughter called Bonnie, tell her you're a friend of mine and ask her to give you a tour of the town"

He waves his hand in the air signaling his men to gather round, "You all know the drill from here on out, change into the civilian clothes that we have packed and hide in shadows"

"Do not under any circumstance reveal yourself unless i tell you to", he says before walking away from them then disappearing as if he was never there.

**Scene Break**

Arriving at a house on the same street as Elena Gilbert, he bought the residence a week before arriving in Mystic Falls.

He sees a witch he recognizes as one of his main group that joined his cover when it first started, "Kyle, everything is good i expect"

The man had long black hair tied into a man-bun with a tanned face and several facial scars, "Yes Master, I have warded every aspect of the house. it is waterproof, fireproof, and self-repairing"

Lukas nods, "Good job, you haven't seen your wife and daughter for a while, right?"

The man nods but with determination in his eyes, "Sacrifice is necessary when you serve a being such as yourself, my lord"

Lukas shows a genuinely happy smile, "I would never ask you to sacrifice your family for me, you have served loyally and amicably. I'm granting you a four-month vacation, go see your family"

The man gives a full bow with tears in his eyes, "thank you, my lord"

Kyle leaves the house in a quick sprint in a rush to get to his family, leaving Lukas alone in his new home.
