Christine expressed her understanding of the plan but questioned the methodology, asking if they would simply sit still and wait for her to control a fly to determine her ability's range.

Khush confirmed that this was indeed the plan, urging Christine to start controlling the fly to proceed with the experiment.

After conducting thorough experiments, it was determined that Christine's skill has a range of approximately 300-400 meters, and she can control a fly for more than 3 hours.

The experiment was halted after 3 hours, as Christine had only used half of her mana, and the group did not want to waste more time.

Additionally, we prepared a bag with essentials such as food, a torch, a water bottle, and a notebook and pen to facilitate communication with Christine.

Christine: "How are you going to communicate with me with a notebook when I will be controlling a fly?"

Khush: "It's actually quite simple. I've prepared a notebook with the alphabet, numbers from 0 to 9, and common words spaced out to help us navigate the streets. I'll write down the information clearly, and you can land on the specific letters or words to convey messages."

Khush: "Exactly! We can also establish emergency signals for immediate communication."

Christine: "What kind of emergency signals?"

Khush: "Let me explain. Firstly, if you land on my nose, it means we need to stop immediately and take shelter.

Landing on my right cheek indicates we're going in the right direction.

On the other hand, landing on my left cheek means we need to change direction. Lastly,If you land on my right ear, it's a signal for me to open the notebook and communicate something specific."

Christine: "I understand. Anything else?"

Khush: "I don't think so for now. If I remember anything else, I will let you know. Also, did you see any other monsters or humans?"

Christine: "I didn't see any humans, but I did encounter some new monsters."

Khush: "Oh, really? What did they look like and how many were there? Where were they?"

Christine: "I saw around 400-500 goblins, 100-150 larger goblins, about 20-30 orcs, and 4 Red Orcs riding the four-legged monster that killed that guy. Additionally, I spotted 1 Red Orc without a mount, seemingly giving orders to the others."

Khush: "You what!? You saw so many monsters, and you're just telling us now? 5 red orcs!? It's fortunate that we live deep within the colony and are surrounded by houses from three sides. Otherwise, we could have been attacked by them already. No wonder you didn't see any humans."

Christine: "Sorry. I just thought that if I told everyone that, they will get scared and potentially even cancel going to get medicine for sister."

Khush: "No need for that. You had the right reason. Now we need to make a new plan for this unexpected threat. Where were the monsters? Anywhere near us? Were they doing anything?"

Christine: "I can't be sure, but it looks like they weren't destroying any buildings. It looked like they were collecting supplies from every house. The red orc was ordering goblins to collect supplies and bring them to their main base, which they made around the government-made buildings."

Khush: "Can't blame them for choosing those buildings. It's surrounded by high walls and small hills with only 1 entrance. That's why there are not many monsters near us. We live on the opposite side of that area. Still, now we need to take even more measures to ensure our well-being."
