Psychopath

After ensuring no other criminals were present by gazing through the balcony and window, we descended and confiscated the thug's sword and bike.

We then proceeded to the adjacent house, where we discovered a grisly scene - a family of three slaughtered. We scoured over 12 homes, each one housing a deceased victim. It seemed the perpetrator showed no mercy.

In the final residence, we stumbled upon a male body sprawled in the hallway and a female body in the kitchen. My father suggested we leave, but I recalled that a family of three had recently moved into this house.

As I recalled, this family was new to the country, having just relocated to our street a few days ago. I informed my father and we continued our pursuit, this time searching for their teenage daughter. After scouring every inch of the first floor, we decided to venture to the second floor. However, the door was locked. We began to knock, hoping to gain entry.

Suddenly, we heard the voice of the girl, warning us to leave or she would call the authorities. Despite our repeated attempts to communicate and assuage her fears, she refused to listen. It was at this point that I made the decision to lock the door from the outside and seek assistance from my sister.
