Chapter 100: Get naked human

A long time later, when they came up for air, she said, "Show me ice cream, my human." She was breathless, and her eyes shone as if a light had been lit behind them. He inhaled her distinctive smell, and it hit him what it reminded him of. Orchids, she smelled like orchids, spicy and floral at the same time, and mysteriously exotic.

"Your wish is my command." Did she realize what she'd called him? His heart hammered, and that should be an impossibility. His pico's kept it beating at an optimum pace. On their wedding day, when he'd only seen her as an opportunity to find a weakness in the cyborgs, he would never have believed that he could love her this much.

"Why don't you go to the bedroom and get ready for bed? I will order the ice cream."

She perked up. "We can eat ice cream in bed?"

He smiled indulgently. He loved seeing the world through her eyes. Loved the way eating ice cream in bed became something new and special. "I believe it is better when eaten in bed."
