Dangerous Daniel?

Kiana observed Daniel closely. Aside from their fight with Asakura Mizuki, this is the second time she'll see him fight.

Compared to the life and death battle with her, this is just them teaching these guys a lesson.

To her surprise however….

"Wait!" She heard Daniel say. After saying it, she saw Daniel counting someone something before nodding.

"... What are you doing?" Kiana asked with a raised brow. 

"Just counting how many guys have helmets." He shrugged.

"They have 12 members and seven of them wear helmets while the rest don't." He continued.

Hearing this, Kiana was confused. What for?

"You brats!" The leader saw this and roared in anger. How dare these kids not take them seriously?!

Stepping forward, he pulled a knife to threaten Daniel.

In his opinion, the only one who can probably fight is this big kid in front of him. Take him out and the rest is pretty much done.

As he was about to point it he heard Daniel say,

"Since you don't wear a helmet sir. You'll be beaten up less compared to them." After hearing that, the leader saw a foot above his head before slamming his face.

*Bang!*

Looking at their leader's face being buried to the ground, the rest of the members took a step back in fear.

Meanwhile, Raiden Mei and Kiana looked at Daniel in surprise. 

Raiden Mei was a prodigy in martial arts. That ax kick Daniel did was nothing like she ever saw before. It's almost inhumane.

On the other hand, Kiana is surprised due to the blow of that kick.

Did he get stronger again?

As they were pondering, the biker members who cowered in fright earlier steeled themselves.

If they rush at the same time, it's impossible for them to end up like their leader right?

They are just kids right?!

Comforting themselves, they rushed forward in order to avenge their fallen leader.

"Welp, free lunch it is then." Kiana heard this and also rushed forward. She almost forgot that the one who takes the least will pay for lunch.

Raiden Mei looked at the two of them fighting. She also wanted to help but seeing their eyes, it wouldn't be a good idea to do so.

Probably because of lunch.

"Hahaha! I win! You pay for the lunch, Kiana." Daniel laughed while dusting his palms.

Looking at the 8 people on the ground. He nodded proudly.

"You cheated! You took their leader first." Kiana shook her head. No way! This guy has a headstart in their bet.

Seeing them arguing again, Raiden Mei sighed helplessly.

"Umm, Daniel, Kiana-chan. If you want, I could pay for the lunch." She said,

"Mei-senpai called me Kiana-chan, hehehe." Kiana didn't hear the lunch part, surprisingly.

Daniel on the other hand looked at Raiden Mei for a moment before saying, "Are you sure? This girl will probably drain your wallet." He pointed at Kiana who immediately slapped his finger hearing that.

Raiden Mei shook her head with a smile, "No, you can say it as my thank you for you both." 

Daniel and Kiana looked at each other and didn't hesitate anymore. 

"Sure." 

Raiden Mei smiled hearing that. They continued walking but this time, there was no previous noise from the arguments.

'Did they behave?' She looked at the two who's just looking from various places..

Like kids.

They turned left and after a few minutes of walking, they saw an expensive looking restaurant which made Daniel gulp.

"... Is this for real?" As someone who prioritizes saving money. This restaurant looks a little expensive to him.

Raiden Mei didn't care about his expression and entered the establishment.

"I see…" She looked at both of them with a twitching mouth.

After entering the restaurant, Daniel was shy at first before ordering a lot of food just like Kiana.

Speaking of Kiana, looking at the pile of plates in front of her, Raiden Mei sighed.

"By the way, are you really sure you're going to be alright?" Daniel asked after swallowing his food.

Although the food is good, he doesn't like the feeling of taking advantage of others.

The pile of plates beside him however, tells another story.

"It's alright. I have my own allowance." Raiden Mei shook her head. 

"I'm talking about your friends. Judging by how they act. They would probably make trouble for you." He said while his hand was wiping the sauce from Kiana's mouth.

"What the hell?!" She slapped it.

Raiden Mei ignored this and replied, "It's okay." Although she was disappointed by her 'friends', she won't lie and say she didn't see it coming.

As the only child of Raiden Ryoma, she knows that there would be people who have different intentions when getting close to her.

It's just…. She did think of them as her friends. 

From her childhood, she was already taught how to deal with these kind people. She was known as the Queen of Thunder for a reason after all.

Compared to other students, she was untouchable. One could say whether it's status, wealth, beauty or even strength. There are few people at her age who could rival her.

Though, it seems that isn't the case now. 

Remembering the fight earlier, she couldn't help but take a double look at them, especially Kiana.

Daniel she can understand. But Kiana? She didn't think that her small body could unleash such a strong blow.

Guess she shouldn't underestimate her.

"What are your plans after this?" Raiden Mei asked.

"Huh? Take you to ME Corp. That's what we said right." Daniel replied while sipping his noodles. Tasty.

Kiana doesn't even care about the conversation aside from eating food. Though, if someone looked closely, they could see her eyes darting between Daniel and Mei.

"... Is that so?" Raiden Mei looked at him in surprise.

"What?"

"Nothing!." Shaking her head. Raiden Mei started eating her own meal.

After eating their meal, Kiana and Daniel took her to the ME Corp as promised.

"It's massive." Kiana exclaimed while looking at the building.

"Yeah…" Daniel agreed. That sounded weird for some reason.

"Thank you both for getting me here." Raiden Mei did a ladylike bow.

"It's fine—!"

"Can you give me your number?" Before Daniel could finish what he's saying. Kiana intervened.

"I don't mind." Raiden Mei shook her head and gave her number.

"What about you Daniel?" She asked in confusion.

"I don't have a phone…" He shrugged.

Not that he needed it.

Kiana, on the other hand, was happy. She gets to talk to Mei-senpai all she wants.

After doing so, she waved her hand goodbye and went inside the ME Corp.

"What a little rich lady." Daniel whistle.

Kiana wasn't listening and was laughing creepily while looking at her phone.

"Hey, let's go. The guard might kick us with that face of yours." Daniel called out in disgust.

"Shut it!"

"So let's me guess this straight, that boy I saw with my daughter earlier is actually dangerous?" A silver haired man tied in a ponytail asked. 

"Yes! How many times do I have to tell you?!" Dr. Tesla replied, annoyed.

"Impossible! I clearly felt that the boy had no Honkai Energy. How could he be the one who defeated a Pseudo Herrscher?" He shook his head in denial.

"Siegfried. That's what really happened." Dr. Einstein replied with a sigh but widened her eyes in surprise shortly, "Did you say that he has no Honkai Energy?" 

"Yes!" The man named Siegfried replied.

"That's… strange." Dr. Einstein held her chin while thinking. In her experience, Honkai Energy is the reason why others could perform supernatural feats.

It's a dangerous energy, it can corrode the user's body and turn them into zombies if left untreated. Worse is that someone could even die.

She didn't doubt Siegfried's words. That person is a man, compared to women, their Honkai adaptability is lower. It's not that strange for him to lack it.

But if that's the case, what is that mysterious power?

"Enough about that Einstein. I'll be going to teach that guy a lesson." Siegfried said with anger. As expected, like father, like daughter.

"That would be unwise." 

"Why?" Didn't you just say that his daughter is in danger?

"Don't misunderstand. From what we saw, that guy is indeed dangerous," Einstein continued, "However, so far, we never saw anything that could signify those said dangers."

She gestured for Tesla to open the monitor.

Looking at Kiana and Daniel walking together, Siegfried couldn't refute. His daughter doesn't look like she's being held hostage.

"As you can see, their interactions are fairly normal. Aside from the fight against the Pseudo Herrscher, the boy named Daniel didn't show any of his previous aggression."

"I see…." Siegfried scratched his head. What should he do now?

"But Siegfried, just because it's not happening so far doesn't mean it wouldn't. We don't know what caused it so I advise you to watch for your daughter more closely." Einstein said seriously.

Siegfried laughed sheepishly hearing that. He was away when the incident happened.

"By the way, is what happened to Raiden Ryoma true?" Siegfried asked.

"Grr… it must be that bitch's doing!" Dr. Tesla raised her gauntlet with anger. She also heard what happened and was furious.

If it wasn't for Einstein stopping her, she would've used her Titans to invade ME Corp and find Cocolia.

"It must be. I don't see anyone capable of doing it." Einstein said with a sigh.

"If something happens to my daughter because of that scheme of hers. I will…" He clenched his remaining hand in anger.

"We don't know what her plan is. Even if we could stop it, the damage has already been done. I only feel sorry for Raiden Ryoma's daughter." Einstein looked at her cup.

"Why couldn't we just barge in and take everything? Don't they belong to us." As if she had a great idea, Dr. Tesla slammed his fist to her palm and exclaimed.

"If Shicksal doesn't exist, then we could probably do that," Dr. Einstein replied unconvinced, "As much as I hate to admit it. I'd rather face Cocolia than face Otto right now." 

"Great, two blondes." Dr. Tesla slammed her hand on the table.

"In any case, I'll be checking my baby doll. I don't know what happened to her." Hearing their discussion, Siegfried excused himself and went out.

After hearing what happened, he was really worried. He was even planning on unleashing Shamash on that Daniel person for harming his daughter.

But seeing their interaction, he decided to hold it before knowing what happened.

He trusts his daughter. Although he wasn't there when she's growing up, he knows that her daughter is not the kind of person who tolerates bad people.

"You better pray nothing happened to my daughter, Daniel."
