A Talk With Ronald

Ginny was wary of being alone with me after what I did, but we continued to talk. She was clearly interested in having at least one adventure with me, something I knew if it happened she would end up not being able to backout.

My contact with her began to disgust the Gryffindors. The way they were looking at me, it was like I was trying to kidnap the poor girl.

I knew that soon one of her brothers would come to me to confront me for deceiving her poor little sister.

This thought was very right and I cried out for the twins to come to me, but I was rewarded with what I least wanted. I would even accept Percival with his haughty attitude that thinks he is better than everyone else, but in the end I ended up getting a visit from Ronald.

If the twins approached me they would probably try to intimidate me and then start trying to play pranks on me all the time.

Percy would probably lecture me about how I'm not good enough to have a relationship with his sister.

As for Ronald, he would make everything about him. Only the incredible Ronald Weasley owns the truth. He would call me Snake several times and we would come to no conclusions.

I was walking through the castle heading back to the Slytherin common room one day when I ran into him waiting for me.

Ronald gave me a furious look that made me take a deep breath.

"What did you do to my sister?" – he said irritated.

I took a deep breath again, the urge to insult him was too great.

"I haven't done anything, I've just been talking to her." – I said without much patience.

"That's not what I heard!" – he shouted.

I tried until the last moment, but my desire to mock him was greater.

"You know, when a boy and a girl really like each other they tend to talk, from that conversation they can evolve into something more, maybe a relationship, I know that one day you will experience that." – I said in a sarcastic tone.

Ronald didn't like what I said at all.

Almost instinctively he pulled out his wand, something he was almost as bad at as hand-to-hand fighting.

I took my wand out of my pocket and performed an Expelliarmus.

Ronald's wand flew a few feet away and he stared at me in horror.

"I haven't done anything to your sister that she doesn't want and I don't care what you hear, I'm not doing anything wrong." – I said firmly.

Ronald was infuriated by my words, but without the wand he was feeling helpless.

"You are a slime snake, you are tricking her!" – he accused, trying to maintain his composure.

I put my wand away so he could see I wasn't a threat.

"I told her exactly who I am and what I want, and she decides whether to accept it or not. She is already an adult and I believe she knows that she does not need her brothers to come and defend her." – I said trying to make him understand.

Ronald still didn't look convinced at all.

"You're fooling her, there's no reason for her to hang out with a snake if you weren't fooling her." – he shouted.

I beat my arms impatiently at him.

"She knows exactly who I am, she knows what I want, she knows exactly what I have to offer and all that's left is her decision. I won't do anything she doesn't want." – I said, trying one more time.

"Why would my sister want anything to do with you?" – he asked, still out of control.

Laugh at him.

"I would be too narcissistic if I started listing my qualities." – I said mockingly.

My words seemed to make him want to attack me.

"You snake, someone like you is up to no good." – he replied.

I let my head fall, not knowing what else to say to him.

"Maybe the fact that I was the one who actually saved her during that Chamber of Secrets fiasco." – I reminded him.

He stopped at that moment.

I believe Ginny's statement on the train may have a grain of truth, he seemed to be believing that he was a big factor in her rescue. I hoped he would at least remember that I was the one who saved their asses after all.

"It was you?" – he asked confused.

I took a deep breath, he was more lost in his own world than I imagined.

"Do you even remember my name?" – I asked.

"Bai Zao?" – he replied.

I put my hand to my head, insulted by the fact that he doesn't even remember my name.

I hadn't introduced myself directly to him, but he was just a few feet away when I introduced myself to Myrtle.

"It's amazing that Ginny was able to find me with a memory like yours." – I told him impatiently.

"Don't call her that! You have no right to call her that." – he shouted.

"She was the one who said I could call her that. You don't have the right to say what I can call her or not." – I said, starting to get irritated.

He charged towards me with an extremely weakly prepared punch.

I acted out the scenario of our encounter in the bathroom when he tried to attack me, the difference is that now I am not someone who is malnourished and full of poorly healed bones.

I dodged the punch easily, grabbed his hand and twisted his arm behind his back.

"I'm not doing anything she doesn't want, we're just friends at the moment and if she wants we'll be more than that and you can't do anything about it, she's an adult and capable of making her own decisions." – I said in his ear, trying to remain calm.

I let go of his arm, grabbed my wand and levitated his towards me.

"You can talk to her, but you shouldn't bother her to make the decision you want, be an adult and not a child who doesn't accept how the world works." – I said, handing him the wand.

He looked at me as if I had killed his entire family.

"I will never let my sister have a relationship with a slime snake like you." – he declared, still denying everything I said.

"I can't do anything about what you think of me, but I assure you that I want the best for your sister." – I said in a serious tone.

Ronald turned his back and ran away.

I knew this wasn't over, he was definitely going to pester her to stop talking to me.

"And my name is Kai Mao, just so you know!" – I shouted as he walked away from me.

I went back on my way to the common room, when I got there I received some looks as usual and went to my room.

I needed to finish studying Charms, I wanted to accumulate as much theory as I could and then start practicing Spells. After that I would start Transfiguration.

This year I wanted to study as many of the Hogwarts classes as possible. I wanted to be ready for everything that could happen, especially knowing that the Deatheaters are active.

I didn't want to be caught by surprise in the middle of a war, it happened to me once, it's not fun at all.
