Fear

Akira feared for the worst and the worst had happened. The old fighting style had sent her into a state of fear. She was scared of footsteps and noises. Even the children scared her. The dwarves were now looking like creatures that crept out of the shadows. She closed her eyes and prayed to her mother. She thought of the moon and then the things started to feel normal again. Weeks had passed and she was still not improving. She hardly ate and mostly slept. Arienne was the only one she trusted in that time. And at times even her presence was scary to her. "I saw the blue eyes dwarves once" she said. "They were pure souls and I gave them my kid," she said. "What?" fumed Akira. "You gave them your kid," she was furious. "Yes," she replied as her eyes lit up. "I think they can help you too," said Arienne. "What are you talking about?" asked Akira. "Yes, she said, I see them sometimes. "They merge with our people but they are slightly taller and have longer ears," she said. "Elves!" whispered Akira. "What?" asked Arienne. "Nothing!" replied Akira.

What are elevens doing here? She wondered. The elves don't coke anywhere close to the darkness. And especially not here, in these caves. They live in castles and in light! While she was deep in her thought, Anatoly, the private and James walked past her carrying some machine parts. "They are still building it," she spoke out loud.

"Yes," said Arienne as she realised that Akira had snapped out of her fear, finally! What's taking them so long? she wondered and walked towards them. "Where are you headed?" asked a voice. She knew who it was. "Nowhere" she replied without any hesitation. "You have not yet conquered your mind" he said to her. She looked back. "Why do you say that?" he asked her. "Because you looked back," replied the voice. "Only because you spoke Seronn," she said. "But I'am not really there!" said the voice. "What?" she said as the shadow disappeared. She walked again

After a few more steps.

The voice spoke again. But this time it was different. It was a females. "Mother!" she said. "Yes, Dear," said the voice. "What are you doing her?" she asked. "What are you doing here?" the mother asked. "I line here now!" replied Akira. "No, you do not!" replied her mother. "Go back to your home," said the voice. "This is my home," shouted Akira as the shadow again disappeared.

"Who are you talking to?" asked Mithrir. "No body!" replied Akira and brushed past the dwarf thinking that it was a shadow again. The lights were up now in these parts of the cave. Pacardy was fixing the bulbs on the caves. "Hello," he greeted Akira. "Hello," she said and walked faster as she saw the dwarf closely following her. "What are you doing here?" he asked her. "This is my home now" she replied with furore tired of being asked the same question again and again. "No, what are you doing here?" he asked her pointing at the ground. She was sleep walking.

She was in the home of Mithrir. In the town. She had walked a long way, indeed! "Are you missing leonadir?" he asked her. The dwarf himself was fixing a light bulb in his home. No, she replied confused and lost. "How did i end up here,"'she asked him. "The same way, I did," he replied. "Walking!" he replied. The dwarf after fixing the light bulb soon scourged the drawers for coins. She could hear the ruffling of coins and him inserting it in his pocket. She walked around the house as the lights flickered on and off. "The same problem everywhere," said Mithrir as he complained and stuffed his pockets. "They have forgotten the most important component," sighed Mithrir. He was the most entitled dwarf that Akira had ever seen. Even though he had made his way to his riches through hard work, he still did not have any humility. He sure was the strangest dwarf that Akira had ever seen. He was more like a hylin, she thought.
