Beast realm?!

Unable to contain his curiosity he turned to Lord Guotin.

"I couldn't believe that someone powerful like the Beast God of the beast realm would be harmed to the point of even forcing him to perish. Would this God care to tell me what in the world happened?"

Lord Guotin sighed just by the thought of it. The long dreary fight he had encountered with the dragon beast god was still fiery and intimidating. It sends chills down his spine.

He shook off his cute fluffy head in regret.

The sadness was crystal clear.

Yichen's curiosity grew bigger by it.

The small phoenix went to sit by the dry branch that was there. Yichen too followed him and sat beside him.

With a regretful sigh, Lord Guotin began to narrate the story...

"It was a really good day in the beast realm. As usual, I was seated on the clan's throne enjoying the meat and fruits my underlings had served me.

I was leading a pretty good life there.

It was all good and laughter till I felt a sudden burning sensation in my heart. It was malicious as if my heart was being stretched by someone evil.

Unable to bear the pain, I instantly flew out from there like a jerk. My underlings must have been panicked by it but I didn't wait to explain, I flew out from the nest to a long distance. Maybe the flight would give me some relief that was what I thought.

But all of the hopeful thoughts went futile as the dreadful pain didn't leave me instead it was even worsened by the flight.

I needed to take a quick rest or else the extreme strangled in my heart would have killed me, therefore, I immediately flew down from the sky.

But as I went down, my whole body suddenly went numb. I was free-falling to the ground instead of flying. It was too late when I realised that I was being summoned. I was immediately drawn out from the Beast realm through the portal and found myself in a place in the mortal realm.

This place was a field of ice with no one around. It was extremely cold there. The Ice-cold wind blew to all sides. Whoever summoned me was sly to choose that ice-cold place for a place to summon. He knew that the ice-cold was my weakness that it was contradictory to my fire type body and was endeavouring to use it to his advantage."

Yichen gaped at Lord Guotin's story. It was a real eye-opener to hear the story of him being summoned by a cultivator. He didn't know that there were cultivators who can summon a Beast God. That was bizarre.

"I didn't know that there are cultivators who can summon a Beast God? Aren't Beast God suppose to be more powerful than the primordial God? How did the summon happen?"

[Primordial God is the highest level of cultivation for mortals]

Yichen's observation was on point that Lord Guotin flashed at it.

"As expected, kid, you are quite observant."

"Indeed, the Beast God are more powerful than the primordial God. As to who has summoned me, I too have no idea because not long after I was summoned, the bloodthirsty dragon Beast God followed me to the mortal realm. Of course, he wouldn't waste such a good chance to kill me."

Yichen was wowed by it. Seeing his stunned expression, Lord Guotin continued with the detailed...

"We the phoenix clans and the dragon clans are always on the throat of each other. For your knowledge young lad, there are two Beast God in the entire beast realm. One is this Lord Guotin and the other one is Wulong, the black dragon.

Ever since the beginning of time, dragons and the phoenix are always on the bad side. Since there were two Beast God in the beast realm, naturally, the situation there became even more dangerous.

Out there in the wild, it is natural for that stronger beast to trample upon those who are weaker than him but since the Beast realm has got two of the majestic Beast God, the tension became wilder.

To protect the Realm, the Saint beast Wukong, the ape has divided the entire beast realm into two parts, the dragon's territory and the phoenix's territory. It was to maintain the stability so that the two beasts won't have the upper hand over the others.

It should have done the trick but these dragons are quite cunning and greedy creatures. They wanted the entire beast realm underneath their foot and won't stop it until they achieve it. Therefore, they kept on targeting us Phoenix clans to overtake our territory but we aren't the easy ones to be defeated.

That time, the Dragon beast God, Wulong must have known that something was off as he ended up chasing me to the mortal realm. Of course, it was his once in a lifetime opportunity to kill me without anyone's knowledge and he wouldn't spare such a good thing.

We had a fierce battle there in the ice-cold field.

With every Wulong attack, I fend it off with all my might but wasn't able to keep it for long. My power was greatly reduced because of being tied down to a summoner. Furthermore, the cold chills around me were putting me at a disadvantage.

This time, Wulong has the upper hand.

He finally blew me up with his divine tier dragon blades and I wasn't able to fend it off anymore.

I was left there hurting and was slowly bleeding to death.

Knowing that I will surely die, Wulong leaves me there ruthlessly and left the realm."

Yichen's deep turquoise eyes were consumed by it. He attended it all in awe and Lord Guotin was alleviated to see it. At least someone was there to hear him out.

He continued with his heartfelt story.

"As I was slowly losing myself, I saw a young girl around your age running towards me. I bet she was your mother considering the silver colour hair and the turquoise colour eyes you both have. Your mother has this medium length beautiful silver hair just like yours. With those beautiful gentle eyes and dark blue colour dress, she looks the most gorgeous.

'Papa, let's save him', she said to a middle-aged man. His hair was too silver, he looks somewhat upright and serious. He has this muscular build on him and wore some kind of protective gear.

Since your mother called him father, that stern-looking man was indeed your Grandfather, young lad."

Lord Guotin looked at Yichen's sparkled eye as he remarked.

'My grandfather and mother were there?'

Young Yichen was mortified by it. It's been ages since he heard the news of his mother. Little did he know that he even had a grandfather?! That was bizarre.

That very thing had brought a new spark to his young heart.
